Shiori sat at the back of the class beside a boy who had sunglasses on and a coat hiding his mouth with the Hitai-ate around his forehead. In front of her was a girl with short purple hair and glossy lavender eyes. Shiori immediately drew the conclusion that the one beside her was an Aburame and the girl was a Hyuuga. Settling into her own zone, the lone female Chunin in the class focused her attention on the teacher who had finished his speech about being a Genin.
"Team 1 includes Hideyoshi Kugo, Hikaru Imada and Ehara Minamoto," Iruka began, it followed by Team 2, 3, Team 4 was still active, Team 6 was Interrogation unit and Team 7 was, "Team 7 includes Naruto Uzumaki."
Shiori tilted her head at the boy who perked up, "...Sakura Haruno" quit her sister's groan. Shiori couldn't see why her sister disliked the Jinchuuriki, perhaps he had done something to her? Bad blood? The final member was... "Sasuke Uchiha."
Shiori frozen over before her mind immediately went to the massacre, her eyes trailed over the gloomy form of the last loyal Uchiha and took in how his eyes darkened, his body was tensed and lips tilted downwards a little. Shiori realised the boy was most likely seeking revenge against his brother and pride won't allow him to seek help, additionally, his status as Shinobi of the Year fueled his belief that his classmates were beneath him. Obviously, he wasn't happy to be placed on a team and knowing that Shiori was already a Chunin as Iruka has mentioned was worse.
Shiori kept her lips sealed and watched the rest of the team placement occurring.
Team 8 consisted of Hinata Hyuuga, Shino Aburame and Kiba Inuzuka. The team specializes in tracking and ambush, possibly trained to be hunter-nins. With the Hyuuga's eyes, Inuzuka's nose and Aburame's cronies, the group was complete. All that's left was a Genjutsu specialist which was probably who their teacher would be, much unlike Team 7 which was most likely front-line warriors with her sister as medic combatant... or perhaps Genjutsu specialist, though with an Uchiha, Shiori doubt that was the case. However, their teacher would be a mystery, it would most likely be someone all rounded and skilled enough to handle the Kyuubi no Kitsune in worst case scenarios.
Team 9 was still an active team, similarly to Team 4 and Team 6, Team 10 included Shikamaru Nara, Ino Yamanaka and Choji Akimichi. Shiori considered her allies and cons, the team she would most likely be thrust towards was either the one with a Yamanaka or another. Of course, unless, Kurenai Yuhi was a sensei to one of the teams in the class... Kurenai Yuhi was a recently made Jounin... probably.
"And Shiori-chan?" Her head perked up, senses aware of all the eyes that shifted towards her. Shiori nodded her head, "Hai, Sensei?"
"You'll be placed with Team 8 temporarily under the quest of Hokage-same. It is said that you are informed of the placement," Iruka-sensei read from his clipboard before smiling up at the Chunin. Shiori bobbed her head into a nod before her mouth twitched up into a small smile, "Yes, thank you, either way, sensei."
"It is no problem."
As soon as the bell rang, Shiori was dragged away by her sister, "Aneki, come on, let's go see Ino-pig."
"Uh, alright?" Confused, Shiori went along with her sister's antics and she saw three people seated on the ground, one with long blond hair and beautiful blue eyes, one with a lazy slouch and eyes that shone with wisdom and the last with a large body and hands clutching a bag of chips. Team 10, her mind supplied.
"Forehead! You never told us you had a sister," the blond girl yelled, destroying the image of serene beauty her face had. Shiori nodded her head at the two other guys before dipping into a formal bow, "Shiori Haruno, please treat me well, Yamanaka-san, Nara-san and Akimichi-san."
