055 'Bringing up the Past'

Hyungwon stirs awake, groaning in annoyance because of the phone vibrating under her pillow. Her sleepy eyes trails to the small clock sitting on the bedside table first only to find that it's already 7:30 in the morning.

"CRAP!" Hyungwon shrieks rising from the bed. “Holy cow I am already 30 minutes lates for the first class!”

She jumped off the bed and ran as fast as she could to the bathroom. She almost slipped when entering, but luckily Hyungwon was quick to hold onto the door knob to prevent herself from falling. Without any ceremony Hyungwon bathe with cold water. 

After that she hurriedly prepares herself as she wears whatever clothes she could grab from her wardrobe. Hyungwon didn't even bother to put some make-up on since she knows that she is naturally stunning even without those stuffs.

Hyungwon run out of her dorm without anything in her mind but her first class. She even left her phone and paid no mind to someone who has been calling her.

Meanwhile...

Wonho tries not to get anxious while he paces back and forth, his phone never detaches his ear. It's already his 30th attempt to reach Hyungwon but the latter never answers her phone. 

“The number you have dialed is-”

Wonho ended the call right after hearing the same annoying voice for the 30th time. He wants to try phoning Hyungwon again but he chooses to text Kihyun. He can only text her since she's in class.

Wonho:
Hey, you sure Hyungwon
won't come to your class
today?

Kihyun:
I told you the bitch
hasn't come yet. It's
already 7:50. There's
no way she'll attend
this late.

Wonho:
But she won't pick
up my calls.

Kihyun:
Siguro tulog pa siya.
As if u don't know her.
HW sleeps long and
deep.

Kihyun:
If you're this paranoid
Why don't you visit her
in her dorm? I'm betting
20 bucks for the sleeping
beauty.

Wonho:
I don't think I
can do that.

Kihyun:
Bakit naman?

Wonho was about to start tapping to create a reply to Kihyun when his phone vibrated again. Kihyun sent a message.

Kihyun:
Woah. Hyungwon came
to the class haha. She's
here and she's late and
she's gonna get the
yelling. Pft.

Wonho sighed in relief. He smiled tapping a reply to Kihyun when he got interrupted again. The door suddenly flung open and a lady in a chic lace dress went running up to him. She jumped into Wonho and hugged him tight like a freaking koala.

“Good morning Wonho,” she cheerfully greeted, kissing the guy all over his face.

"H-hey stop it,” Wonho tried to stop the girl from attacking him which caused him yo accidentally dropped his phone that creates a loud thud in the room

“Damn it.” Wonho cursed dropping the girl off immediately. He picked the phone up and dusted it off. “Lin, I let you stay in my house and all I ask is for you to behave. Can't you do that?”

“Behave? Ginagawa mo ba akong bata?” the lady sarcastically replied while raising an eyebrow.

Wonho sighed in frustration and he ran his fingers through his hair. “Lin, kung ayaw mo sumunod pwede ka ng umalis,”

“What!?” the latter shrieks as she rises from the bed. “Nagkaroon ka lang ng bagong girlfriend pinagtatabuyan mo na ako? Sino ba 'yang girlfriend mo? Mas maganda ba 'yan sa akin!?”

“What? What kind of straw man argument is that!? My girlfriend doesn't have anything to do with this!”

“Kung ganun naman pala bakit mo ako pilit na pinagtatabuyan? I came all the way here for you, Wonho.” Lin walked towards Wonho and her hands explored to the guy's toned chest. She stared up at him smiling so seductively. “Ayaw mo na ba sa akin?”

“I'm sorry Lin.” Wonho held the lady's hand to stop it from roaming as he glared down at her without any emotions. “I thought we can still be friends but nah, forget it.” and he threw her hand away.

Wonho is completely done with this. He gave her the last chance, but it made him suddenly feel exhausted dealing with someone who doesn't appreciate what you did for them.

Lin was his first love and so as the first one he lost. Because of it he fucked up his life big time. He became an ugly mess that no one would venture to be with him, to be by his side, to be a part of their lives. But not until Hyungwon came to his life. He tried to shooed her away in all possible way he can, but she never left. Some have already called her naive for liking someone who doesn't like her back, for pursuing someone who doesn't even want her in his life, but she couldn't care less. And Wonho was really thankful for it, for Hyungwon.

“Lin umalis ka na,” Wonho commanded with such authority in his voice.

Lin was a bit startled by the behavior but recovered herself quickly. Well, what do we expect to the bitch who has an erroneous reasoning. Bringing up someone who is completely irrelevant from the topic is a distorted argument. She is seriously has an issue.

“You dare to say that to me? Wonho nahihibang ka na ba?” Lin barks a sarcastic laugh and she glares daggers at Wonho.

“Oo. Matagal na akong nahibang sayo pero pasalamat na lang ako dahil nagising na ako sa kahibangan ko,”

Lin's mockingly laugh filled the room after hearing the boy's statement. Just by watching the lady laughing at him is already enough for Wonho to clench his fist and his knuckles to turn white.

“Wonho honey, ako ba pinagloloko mo? Gumising ka nga. Ako lang ang taong tatanggap sayo ng buong-buo at wala ng iba. Kilala kita mula ulo hanggang paa,” she said and a cheeky grin flashes on her lips. “Or baka gusto mo ipakilala ko sa girlfriend mo kung sino ka dati at ano ka talaga?”
