057 'Letting it Go'

Deafening silence spreads in the atmosphere between the two individual who are sitting inside the car. Both are staring outside, one is looking all worried and anxious while the other one is seriously sulking.

Wonho let out a heavy sigh as he tries to turn his head to look at Hyungwon. "W-what do you want to eat?" he asked with all the might that was left in him.

"Seriously?" the female looks back at him. "Sa tingin mo magagawa nating kumain sa sa ganitong sitwasyon!?" she said, there's an evident annoyance in her tone.

"Let's not argue over this smallㅡ"

"Small!?" Hyungwon angrily exclaims, cutting Wonho from speaking. "Maliit lang para sayo lahat ng 'to!? Wonho, I just saw a female who looks like a fucking prostitute who freshly came out of a freaking hostel inside your goddamn house! Alam mo ba kung ano nasa isip ko ha!?"

Wonho remained silent while hanging his head low. He knew all of this will occur, but he didn't expect it to happen this early.

"ANG INIISIP KO BUONG GABI KAYONG MAGKASAMA NG BABAENG 'YON AT KUNG ANO MAN ANG GINAGAWA NIYO AY HINDI KO KAYANG MA-IMAGINE!" Hyungwon said almost shouting. She couldn't hold back her anger anymore, that her eyes are starting to brim with tears and it eventually fall.

Wonho lifted his head only to find Hyungwon's precious tears started to roll down on her cheeks. His eyes widen and panic is starting to rush on his blood, but he couldn't raise a hand to wipe those tears on her face. He doesn't have the courage to bring himself to stop her from crying when at the very first time, it was always him who is giving her all the pain and heartaches, just like right now.

Guilt is starting to fill his heart as he took away his gaze from the latter. He can't afford to witness all the hurt in Hyungwon's eyes. He couldn't also put his thoughts into words. Different things are ruling his mind. He doesn't know what to say right now. Wonho doesn't want to make her feel the pain, but even without saying any word, he is unintentionally hurting her again.

"Don't you have anything to say!? To excuse yourself Wonho!?" Hyungwon yelled once again, tears won't stop from falling from her eyes. "Magsalita ka naman! Kahit ano namang sabihin mo paniniwalaan ko! Bakit hindi ka nagsasalita ngayon!?"

Wonho's lips remained sealed even after hearing the desperate tone on Hyungwon's voice. The girl is not simply asking him to speak for himself, she's begging for him to say anything. She doesn't care anymore even if Wonho will tell him lies, she just want her heart to be comforted by him.

Hyungwon couldn't help not to cry even more, seeing the guy she fell in love is a big coward. The guy who wasn't strong enough to raise his hand to caress her cheeks or to simply stop her tears from falling. The guy who wasn't even brave enough to hold account for himself, to twist a chapter just to lead their story to a better one.

Hyungwon closes her eyes and let her mind count all the days and nights she hoped that it will be Wonho and her together in the end. That someday, the heaven and hell will conspire to support them. That maybe, there will come a day, the fate will let them be happy and free.

But it sucks, hoping for those things to happen, wishing that you will finally get what you want, but ended up not being able to grasp it with your hand.

"This," Hyungwon said, opening her eyes. "Let's just end everything here."

Wonho abruptly glance up at Hyungwon, completely surprise by her statement. The female turns her head to look at him, diving straight into his eyes.

"You can't save anything Wonho. You can't save this relationship, me, and even yourself. Tapusin na natin 'to para hindi ka na mahirapan." Hyungwon proclaimed bravely. She was about to get off from the car but Wonho quickly grabs her hand.
