She seems so far

It seems so fast

It seems almost like

I'll never last.

I can't get close

I can't get near

But still I wish

That there was here

It may not come

She may not be right

But yet I want

To be with her tonight

I know I do deserve

Another's hand to feel

Or is that just in my head

And that is just not real

I may have earned it

I may have not

But still what she is

I've eternally sought

But I first and foremost

I have to know

If what I want

Will never go

But I'm getting a little

Ahead of my way

So just for now

I'll say

She seems so far

It seems so fast

It's almost like

I'll never last

I can't get close

I can't get near

But still I wish

That there was here

I hope it comes

I hope she's right

So I can be with her

Every night
