POV Matt
We spent the rest of the afternoon going through the cloned drive, Brian was dirty both in his work practices and personally. We found the private investigator he had hired and arranged for our security to pay him a visit and make sure he had no further involvement.
The team in Aspen had confirmed Brian was still there and partying hard, showing no signs of leaving and the team watching Caroline reported she was still at Brian's apartment.
It was almost calm, something we knew not to trust.
Joe's second team had arrived and he was briefing them on security and getting them settled so I felt better about our safety.
I looked at the monitor, Tara was still asleep but I knew she would wake soon, her body was starting to move as she began to wake, I smiled, she was doing so well and working with us, she was amazing.
I looked at the clock nearly 4, she hadn't had anything to eat since breakfast and she needed to eat more regularly, a snack would keep he going till dinner, I called the kitchen and asked Tim to put a tea tray together with a selection of small snacks.
"Do you want me to take it up?" Phil queried looking up from the computer.
"No, I'll drop it into her and make sure she's okay then leave her in peace till dinner" I replied, getting up to leave.
Tim had put both tea and juice and a selection ready on a tray, there was a little of everything to tempt her and keep her going till dinner, I had rejected his offer of a cup for myself as I wasn't staying.
When I opened the door Tara was sitting up in the bed and blushed when I looked at her.
"How do you feel?" I asked
The blush got darker "umm, good...thank you" she stutters out nervously
"You need to eat" I tell her settling the tray on her lap and perching on the side of the bed, she reached for the juice and drank half the glass. A small drop running down the glass to her chin, I swept it away with my finger.
"Are you thirsty baby" I teased her.
She ducked her head "yes sir" she whispered and raised the glass again before setting the glass down on the tray.
I smiled "eat Tara, you need to keep your strength up, focus on your wellbeing"
"Yes sir"
she fidgeted "umm, sir can you move the tray, I think I need the bathroom"
I lifted the tray and turned to put it on the table teasing "you think?" Before turning back to her.
Tara had gone white and was shaking whilst trying to rise from the bed, I reached for her to help and she collapsed to the side sliding onto the floor in a heap, convulsing.
"Phil, call an ambulance, quickly" I shouted knowing he would hear me through the security feed.
I reached round her body and lifted her to lay on the bed, her eyes were glazed and with each convulsion her body tried to vomit, I moved her into the recovery position as Phil raced through the door his phone in his hand, talking to the emergency operator and explaining Tara condition, relaying information back.
I held Tara still as her body started to shut down on itself and I felt myself panic, she was fine, she was okay when I came in, why.
"We need to move her" Philip instructed and I lifted her and took her to his room, laying her on the bed, we could hear sirens coming and I left Phil with her as I raced down to greet them and explain what had happened while leading them up to her.
The paramedics moved quickly and wanted to get her into hospital as soon as possible, they were unsure of what was wrong but when they suggested it looked like poisoning or an acute allergic reaction, both Phil and I looked at each other in fury.
Philip as her husband went with her in the Ambulance and I promised I would follow shortly, first I had to find out if the paramedics were right. I texted Joe to update him and asked him to come and find me, then I walked back to the playroom, entering to find Tim about to remove the tray.
"Leave it" I commanded watching him.
"Just wanted to clear up sir, are you going to the hospital with his grace?"
He put the tray back down. He wasn't surprised, hadn't asked what was wrong, had entered a room he should not have....was removing evidence.
I looked at him "what did you do" I growled moving forward.
"What do you mean sir?" he asked but I could see his nerves showing.
"You put something....poison in her drink, why?"
"No sir" he denied, sweat beading on his brow.
I looked at the tray and reached out for the juice glass, holding it out to him "drink it"
I watched as he took a step back.
I heard footsteps behind me "sir?" Joe queried.
"We think Tara has been poisoned, I think Tim is involved, and I think the poison is in this glass, if that's not the case then nothing will happen when I pour this down his throat, hold him"
Joe grabbed Tim and pulled him to his knees forcing his head back for me to put the glass to his mouth
"Rat poison" he shouted trying to move away "stop, no, its rat poison"
"Put him somewhere secure Joe, if anything happens to her the Police will want to speak to him, if there's anything left after we have dealt with him" I order as Joe drags him away.
I quickly text Phil what it was and race down to my car wanting to get to the hospital to join them.

POV Philip
My heart is pounding as I hold her hand from the side as the medic works on stabilising her, my phone beeps in my pocket and I pull it out to see a message from Matt
"It's rat poison," I exclaim to the medic.
"Are you sure sir" he asks reaching for a case of vials.
"Yes" I say sharply before apologising quickly "I'm sorry, I'm on edge"
"Can you find out the type of rat poison, its been a while since the laws changed but some household still have the older more dangerous products, I can give her a general injection but a product name would help" he explained.
I pulled my phone out and called Matt.
"I'm just leaving the house" he answers.
"We need the poison" I say quickly "there are different types and they need to know which one she's ingested to help her best"
"I'll find it, focus on her, as soon as I have a name I'll send it to you and then bring it with me" I could hear him moving through the house.
"Who" I asked
"Not now" Matt replied "focus on her, she vulnerable at the hospital, I'll arrange extra security"
I look down as Tara, pale and unresponsive under the oxygen mask and pray."Matt..." my voice breaks.
"Phil, think positive, we've just got her back, we are not going to lose her like this, we will bring in the best to help her and we will kill the bastards that did this" he replies firmly.
"Focus on her, until I get to you, then we will focus on her, I will see you soon"
