Kyren’s P.O.V
We got to the lodge and everyone except Momo went down to have dinner. Hayden and Raine went to go and explore the lodge but I decided to go and see how she was doing. I walked into the room and saw a hooded boy wearing black tying Taylor up.
“Hey what are you doing?” I shouted and rushed towards him
He picked her up and threw her outside onto the balcony. She rolled on the floor and hit the rails. I ran to try and get her but I was close lined by the hooded boy. I was temporarily stunned by I got back up on my feet and took a couple of swings at him. He dodged all of them and punched me in the stomach. I gagged. I swept his feet and he fell on the floor. He almost instantaneously got back up and punched me in the face. I fell to the floor and before I blacked out I saw him pick her up and disappear over the balcony.
Taylor’s P.O.V
“WAKE UP!” shouted a voice as he threw a bucket of ice cold water on me.
“AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!” it was so painfully cold
I started to tear up I couldn’t bear the pain. I tried to get up and run but my movement was restricted by the fact that I had been handcuffed to a pole. I started to shiver uncontrollably.
“Why are you doing this?”
“SHUT UP!” he shouted and drenched me with another bucket of cold water. My skin was stinging and I had lost all sensation in my legs.
“Please stop, whatever I did wrong I’m sorry, just please stop.” I begged
“Are you really?” a voice asked it was different voice from the one who was continuously pouring water on me so I assumed that there were more than one person in the room. There was no way that I could tell for sure because I couldn’t see anything.
“How can you apologise if you don’t know what you are apologising for?”
“Please just tell me what I’ve done wrong.”
“NO-ONE ASKED YOU TO SPEAK,” the man shouted and threw the next bucket of water on me.
“Please stop, I’m begging you.”
The one that was interrogating me earlier let out a cynical laugh and said
“You brought this upon yourself, because of you my one of my branches was shut down by the police and all of my men were arrested.”
“What are you talking about?”
“And because of you I almost lost one of my best assassins.”
I made the connection.
“I’m guessing you are the one that runs this whole assassin training business?”
“I see that you are a smart kid, I will be so sad to see you go, you would have been of good use to me.”
“What you do is disgusting and horrible and you deserve everything bad that happens to you and I’d rather die than work for you,” I retorted
Now what that earned me was another cold water bath
“If you’re gonna kill me just do it already and STOP TOURTURING ME.”
He poured the water on me again.
“STOP IT!” I shouted “Just please put me out of my misery.”
“Not so soon kid, be patient.”
I sat still and cried silently.
