Is he really gone?

I got waken up by Grant. I sat up and yawned. "What's up Grant?", I asked him. "The ship is working, it's time to go", he told me. I jumped up. "Really?", I looked so happy. Frank came in. "Newt, look on the backside of the blueprint, there is something else hidden", Frank simply said and walked out. I looked at the blueprint and turned it around. There was a map, a map how to get there. I smiled with happiness. Then I felt something metallic on my head. What, what what. I looked to my right and see Grant pointing a gun to my head.

"Time to lead us to that isle, so we can kill them all and colonize it", he said smirking. Oh fuck my life! Really? I didn't need that! I been tricked the whole time! This wasn't Thomas who put the paper and the blueprint! It was the Raiders the whole fucking time! How stupid am I?

I sighed. "Let's go Newt, get us there, Go!", he shouted pushing me. As we got outside, I could see Eren with a machine gun. "Oh no Grant, not today", he simply said and started firing, killing the whole camp. I was kneeling down, avoiding getting shot. "Fucking traitors, can't believe this", Eren said giving me a hand. I looked up to him and let him pull me up towards him. "Not going to thank me?", Eren asked. "Thank you, why did you save me?", I asked. "Because we are friends, what else, heh I feel you are like a brother to me", he chuckled shortly.

I smiled too, I hugged him. "Ok dude, let's get going, your family is waiting for you", Eren said walking towards the ship.

We put the ship on a patform that can be pulled by a vehicle when it's on it, so we can bring it to the sea. We got into the car and drove off. "You seem very excited", he brought up while driving. "I indeed am", I smiled. "Did you know that the Raiders were exploiting me the whole time?", I asked him. He shook his head. "No I didn't expect that at all, when I seen Grant pointing the gun at you, I lost it and took the nearest weapon and decided thats enough and just shot everyone, I couldn't control myself. I really hate when people do that, my inner insane breaks out", he explains.

I nodded simply, hoping he won't do that to my crew. Recently I remembered that I have a sister called Sonya, I have to tell her thats she is my sister when I arrive at the island before she thinks of dating me or something similar happens. I really don't want that.

We finally arrived to the ocean and let the ship slide to the water. Alright that's done. We entered the ship and Eren checked out how to handle the ship. "Ok that's easy, I can drive that", he said after examining the ship. "Newt, you can go and do whatever, don't worry about me, I will bring you to your family, I promise", Eren promised something really big to me. I nodded and got out from the cockpit.

After an hour or so we were going on the ocean, I could feel the ship going up and down, it felt like being in some craddle where babys sleep. I should probably try to make some food, I am sure Eren is very hungry. I looked for the kitchen and found it after looking for 30 minutes. I looked in the fridge, it was full of fresh food. Why is the fridge full? Who did this? I was really confused.

I closed the fridge and suddently see Frank standing infront of me. What the actual fuck! I jumped backwards falling backwards on my butt. "Sorry I scared you", Frank said. I drew my pistol pointing it at Frank.

He sighed and knocked the pistol away from my hands. The pistol slights about 2 meters away from me. "Newt, I am not here to harm you, calm down", Frank tried convincing me.

I didn't trust him at all, I jumped at him starting a fist fight. He was much stronger than me and got me off him, throwing me against the sink. My back hit the object with a strong force. That hurt. "Stop it Newt, I am not your enemy!", he slightly yelled.

I didn't have any force to fight, my back was hurting very much. I felt like a 90 year old grandfather who couldn't walk anymore, because of his weak back. Frank helped me stand up. "How can I trust you, have any proof?", I asked him. "I filled up this fridge, there you go", he responded. I was exhaling quiet fast. This pain, I felt so dizzy, h-help. "Newt? NEWT!", Frank caught me in his arms before my head could hit the ground.

I fell unconscious, I couldn't feel anything, I felt so numb. Am I dead again? I couldn't see anything, everything was dark infront of my eyes. Please don't tell me Frank killed me. I was just about to see Thomas and my sister Sonya. My friends are waiting too.

After 2 hours I could feel my eyes open again. My sight was still dizzy, slowly it became clearer, I could see Eren standing over Frank with a pistol in his hands. When my sight came back to me I could see the true scene, Frank was killed by Eren, oh shit! I stood up quickly, that was a bad idea I almost fell again.

I finally got my balance back. "Eren, what happend?", I asked him. "Frank knocked you out, I heard that and came to check out what happened, so I shot him", Eren explained. I sighed people keep dying around me, I keep losing friends.

Eren put the gun away and went back to the ship's cockpit. I sat on the ground trying to process what just happened. I found a blanket in the kitchen and wrapped up Frank's body, used a string to keep the cloth together, starting to pull the body out of the kitchen. I went outside and pushed the body in the ocean. "Rest in piece Frank", I simply said and returned to the kitchen.

I took out some food items and tried making something from my knowledge of cooking. The easiest food, one can make is a lasagna, nothing complicated about that.

After I made the sauce and everything useful for the dish I combined it together, put lots if cheese on top and put it in the oven. I found a little lemon like shaped cooking timer and set it to alarm me when I should check the dish.

I went out of the kitchen and went towards the cockpit. I knocked. "Come in Newt, dang, you really a polite man", Eren said chuckling. I opened the door and entered the room. "Everything alright?", I asked him. "Yeah everything is fine, we need to change soon, during the night you gotta control the ship", Eren responded. Me controlling the ship? Oh lord, I don't have any experience with that. "Don't worry, you have to only drive straightforward nothing more", Eren said. "Just watch out if there is any uh obstacles which may destroy the ship, that's all", he added. I nodded.

After some time my timer rang. "The food is ready!", I exclaimed running towards the kitchen. "Chill man, it's not like it's burning or anything", Eren chuckled again. I entered the kitchen and checked on the lasagna, it looked very tasty. I took some gloves and took  the food out of the oven. I placed it on the stove, closing the oven. I placed a piece of lasagna on a plate, took a fork and knife and went towards the cockpit with a glass of water.

I entered the cockpit and placed the food on a table. "Here you go", I said while placing the plate on the table. "Thanks honey", Eren started laughing. "For fucks sake Eren, stop that", I laughed back. I placed my plate next to his and started eating. Dang this was really good, a win for me. I could see Eren's expression liking my cooking. "For a beginner like you, I must say I am impressed", Eren nodded while enjoying the food.

Later I went to bed, so I can keep up all night to take care we don't replicate the titanic and die.
