Her eyes flew open and I jerked backwards in shock as her pupils dilated , okay this was getting freaky as hell

She let both of her hands out and ushered us to hold her hands and we hesitantly did as she looked up and started chanting

"Let us see your future
Whether it be bad
Whether it be good
Let me see what no one ever could
Time and date
Destiny or fate
Open up your mind
Our thoughts this spell shall bind"

There was a gust of wind and she let go of our hands wildly before looking at us and opening her deck of cards

"You seem excited  .. That is the aura I'm getting from you" she looked at Jade who nodded with a smile , Madam Zee closed her eyes as her nostrils flared "is it a trip???"

Jade started squealing "Yes!! How did you know??"

Oh my gosh , this is typical

"I sense it" she said

Are you gona' be sensing things all night because I'm sensing all this is nonsense

Madam Zee shuffled the cards in many patterns that I could never even dream of doing and she took it and open them all up in a fan

She stared at jade from the top of the cards and a single card slid up away from the others and madam zee smiled at it before placing it down

Its back to us

"Place your hand over the card dear" she gestured to Jade who obediently did so and the card started to glow a little and I furrowed my eyebrows

"Move your hand away" she requested and jade did so

And there was a girl in a ballerina stance in the front and Jade gasped "your a ballet dancer I see" Madam Zee rubbed the old tattered card

She placed the cards in front of the single one and the ballerina started to move and my eyes grew big

Its moving ... Its moving

The ballerina hopped and pranced around all the cards gracefully and I admit this was shocking and beautiful

"Is this me?" Jade asked without looking away and Madam Zee hummed in response

We watched carefully as the ballerina was encountered by other dancers that were not clear to see but were dark shadows

The ballerina stood its ground as it faced the dancers head on and Jade smiled proudly but her smile fell apart and I jolted my eyes back to the card

The ballerina was now on the floor clutching its leg , it broke .. Her leg broke

"It seems the fates will not have you be a dancer my child "

"What!? You can't tell her that" I spoke up finally "this is her future .. Its what you came to me for" she raised and eyebrow at me and I was about to open my mouth again but jade touched my hand making me shoot a glance at her

Her eyes seemed glossy as if she's about to cry and my heart ached at the sight "she's right y/n its not her fault... Let her continue" she weakly smiled at me and I gulped down the lump forming in my throat and nodded

Madam Zee turned to me with a nasty look on her face clearly not happy with my outburst

She shuffled the cards again without taking her eyes off of me , she did the same and opened up the cards to makes a fan

She waited but nothing happened and she frowned

I smirked at her sudden look of stupidity " non of these cards want you.." She spat out as she gazed at me up and down

"Excuse me" I raised an eyebrow at her "your story is too big to suit this mundane cards dear " she put the deck together

"What do you mean ???? " I asked , curious at her words

She lifted her finger up to tell us to wait as she woke up and made her way back to the beaded curtain

I looked at Jade who shrugged at me

Madam Zee walked back in with a golden box that shimmered even under the dim light

She sat back down and slowly lifted the lid up

She pulled out another deck of massive cards but these were gold and shiny

"Let's try this again" she smiled before opening up the cards and she waited

Nothing happened , just as her mouth opened a single card slid up and she let out a breath of relief

She placed it down on the table "put your hand over it"

I glided my hand over it and it began to tingle under my touch as a bright glow emitted from my skin

I moved my hand away and it was blank and I frowned but soon after a dark dot formed

It oozed around the card in an attempt to find a form to take up and it slowly started to form muscular legs , sharp his , brooding chest

A man .... Then the black started to form wings that opened wide and sharp

I looked up at Madam Zee whose eyes widened , she placed the rest of the cards infront of it and the man with wings began to walk

Other black forms that seemed to look like other bodies , bowing before him

He stood tall and proud , I didn't know what he looked like since he was only made of black

He started to sway his arms around and things started to fly around the card and it looked like water , fire , air and earth that he controlled with his hand and I heard a gasp from Madam Zee but I didn't dare look up as the form before me was so mesmerising

He started to kill all the people bowing before him making me shiver at the sight , he killed children , men and women

A heart appeared in the middle of it all and the man reached out for it and it flew away from him making him enraged

He started to fly around and killing even more people and the entire deck of cards had burnt to singes right in front of my eyes

"Get out ... " Madam Zee stared at the ashes on her table and it took me a while to get out of my haze

"What was that ..." I whispered

"Only the gods know ..A demon elemental maybe ...   But pray he does not find you ..."
