"It's Lea and Kena" I exclaimed
"What?" Grayson asked
"Lea and Kena from my village"
"What do you mean? They've been our mayors for some years"
"Mayors!?" I exclaimed astonished.
It was all so clear now. Their disappearance during the exploring group. The killing of the young man who threatened to tell the High council they had left. Lea and Kena didn't want anyone to know, but why?
I took one more glance at Grayson before staring directly at the twins.
They were heading straight towards us now, walking in unison.
My face was furious and I stared at them with disgust. They owned this stupid city and they were responsible for my fathers death.
They walked fast and we were soon face to face. I stared at them without saying a word.
"Grayson". Kena nodded towards Grayson and I shot him a confused look.
"You seem to be on the wrong side."
"He's on the right side!" I exclaimed, "the winning side, and you can't get away with this. The high council won't allow it."
"Oh please" said Kena, "the high council is nothing to me"
I raised an eyebrow and they explained further.
"The high council thinks they own us, we are their perfect pair. The ones who do everything they want us to do.. but they are sadly mistaken." Said Lea slyly.
"We own them. Now since we have an "in" here and at the high council there's nothing that can stop us."
"What do you mean? What did you do?" I exclaimed
"Nothing yet but believe me it will be torture. Kasey will be a giant help to us as well, you should see her in training! I thought it would take forever to break her but she wanted to be on our side all along" Lea continued.
"I don't understand?"
"What don't you understand Cameron? Kasey abandoned you so she could be with us. We are stronger and we are going to have Raesmore and Omaha to ourselves!" Kena exclaimed
I breathed slowly taking everything in.
"Kasey would never do that" I stated with my breaths shaking.
"She already did" Kena shot at me.
"I don't believe you" I said, "there is no way she would ever go against us!"
"Let's show her" Kena sighed to Lea as if it was a chore.
"Yes let's see it!" I exclaimed I did not believe them one bit.
Lea and Kena looked around at the empty room and Kena ordered Lea to round up all the citizens or Omaha. Lea left and did as she was told.
Then Kena looked at me and Grayson.
"Come on, follow me." She nodded towards a doorway on the far wall from us.
"Alright" I said and I motioned for every one to follow me.
"No," Kena said sternly, "only you and Grayson"
I immediately declined. "No way Kena. I just found my mother and my people and I will not be separated.
Kena rolled her eyes and said "fine but only two people can enter the room"
"What room?" I asked.
