From the moment the first flower opens I can see the dawn of the new Spring When everything comes alive again And you truly feel like the New Year can begin.
You start to feel the warmth of the sun Instead of its presence merely for show You go outside, and you truly know That Spring has begun.
The birds know it too, for they sing along with you As you go merrily about your day With a shimmy and a sway Everyone has a smile and prays it will stay around for a while Because to feel that sun and hear those songs Is what reminds you of the wonder of nature and the world.
I cannot wait for lazy, sunny days, with music playing Friends mingling around, everyone buzzing, that chatting sound I love how we all come alive, and the days feel so much longer It makes you strive, to be happy and thankful For what a gift life truly is.
