A few weeks later, Ayu and Evan were given their Character Sheets on the Reality person they were assigned to mentor.
Evan was very surprised. He never would've thought that a ten-year old Water Dragon like him would be able to handle a Reality. He promised to try his best.
Ayu was quite surprised too but, he didn't show it. He knew he had to keep a good impression with these Realities. Though he was anxious.
The two Artopians sat next to each other as they surveyed the Character Sheets. They, and the other mentors, also waited on Kat and her newcomers next to a new mansion Kat designed from the little weeks she had to manage.
"So who's the person we have?" Evan asked, cocking his head to see the Character Sheet on Ayu's hand.
Ayu glanced at him and looked back at the Character Sheet, studying it.
"It said here that this Reality's name is Reyna, gender is female, Scorpio and is thirteen years old." Ayu stated as his eyes read on.
"And she's also Black and White as her ethnicity! So she's a mix!" Evan stated as he read the Sheet.
"I don't think that's ethnicity Evan," Ayu said. "That's her race. And I think that's considered rude to say that out loud..."
"Why is it rude? That's what she is, right?" Evan asked, obviously confused of how things were on Reality standards.
Ayu shook his head slightly and continued to read again.
"Anyways, it says here that we are to mentor her for Dragon Training and Telepathy Users.." he said, tapping at one tab on the Sheet and the tab opened to the mentor's job.
"Aww cool! I'm great with Telepathy!" Evan cheered to himself. "So I guess I have to show her how to use Telepathy!"
Ayu nodded. He guessed he had to teach this Reality how to handle dragons. Ayu did have a dragon companion named Quetzalcoatl. So he could teach her with Quetzalcoatl's assistance.
"So what's her Chosen Race?" Evan asked, peering at the Sheet again. Ayu pressed on a tab that read, Artopian Choosing, and read what was there.
Realities had the ability to choose their own race. From Angelics, Kitsunes, Demonics, Sirens, Faunus, to Humans, they can be anything.
"She's just a Human." Ayu read and leaned back a little. "Oh okay." Evan sighed in a bored manner.
"So I'm guessing her Aura's Gift is Telepathy because we need to teach her that, right?" Evan asked, trying to pick back to fun mode. Ayu nodded when he checked a smaller tab that read, Aura's Gift.
"For now, that's the basics." Ayu stated, while folding the Character Sheet and placing it on his pant pocket. "We're gonna have to find everything else out when we meet her."
"Yeah.." Evan agreed, staring off space somewhere.
Ayu glanced at him. "You okay...?" He asked, looking around the scenery where Evan was observing a bit.
The new mansion that Kat designed was almost a little smaller than the mansion Ayu, Evan, and the other seventy-four Artopians lived in.
The Reality Mansion was surrounded by small cherry blossom trees and oak trees laid out further back. It was only a few miles away from the Artopian Mansion.
The small breeze let the cherry blossoms fall and the sight made Ayu think about his old hometown at Spring Wing Village. Nostalgic feelings took over him.
"I'm good," Evan answered Ayu's question, making Ayu's mind go back to Evan. "It's just.." he paused for a bit.
"I never would've thought that there would be more Realities to come here in Artopia. But now it is finally happening and I think I'm about to pass out." Evan stated, looking up at Ayu.
