Roses.

Such beautiful things.

Taylor ran her hand against the soft and dainty petals with such care.

Out of every single flower, plant, vine, bulb, cacti, and fruit...

The roses seemed to stand out more for her.

She wasn't sure why they did.

There were so many other varieties to choose from.

Why this one?

Taylor pinched the single petal with her forefinger and thumb.

The Osiria Rose, Taylor wasn't sure of its name just yet, wasn't like most roses.

The outer petals were coated with a crimson red and it faded with a pure white on the inside of the flower.

Nothing like the rest.

So many things were capable of being beautiful in their own ways.

Even if that flower was the oddball of the society of all the other plants, it was still beautiful to look at and admire.

Right?

Taylor tore her hand away slowly from the flower and picked up the large watering can that was beside the roses.

But as she walked away, she couldn't help but look back at the roses.

The odd one or not, all things were beautiful.

The carnations, tulips, daffodils, cacti, vines, small trees...

They were exquisite to look at too.

Why can't other people see others like perfect and imperfect flowers?

Taylor shook her head as she set down the watering can on the lower shelf of plant caring tools and seeds on sale.

Taylor turned off the lights of her mentor's shop, Tanemura's Flower Shoppe, and turned the sign on the door to Closed!

The sunset was the only light source around the shop, giving the room a low orange glow.

She walked over to the back of the shop and lowered her body to the bottom of the cashier counter.

She pulled out a small key from under a small cacti pot and insert it into the small keyhole of a locked drawer.

She heard the lock click and she opened the long drawer.

There sat her assault sniper rifle.

She carried the heavy weight off the drawer and closed it as she eyed her weapon.

Taylor adjusted the strap that was attached to the sniper and threw the strap over the head. She let it rest on her large shoulders and let out a deep breath.

Work was just beginning for her.

"Taylor? wherE THE FUCK ARE YA??"

"Echo, calm your assbutt down. The earthquake child will hear you."

Echo almost fell over from the ground shaking but managed to lock his sitting position. The Black Demonic scoffed at this and reloaded his sniper rifle with quick fingers.

When he was done, he jumped over the largely destroyed bush, which was literally a small mountain of sticks and chipped leaves.

Better than nothing.

"We need all the help we can get!" Echo angrily said, making his voice low so nobody can hear but him and Ayaka.

The White Angelic, Ayaka, rolled her eyes. Her weapon, which was a spear mixed with a magical staff, was on her hand. She was sitting on a branch of an unaffected tree.
