"Dan, you're back?!"

"You too?"

Kat and Dan were the first to meet each other.

"Did you find Richy?"

"Yeah! Did you find Evan?"

"Yes. A little easier than I anticipated."

"Same!"

The rest of the group reunited and they took no time to go back to their old location, faster this time.

"So how did you guys find Richy?" Dan had asked the two girls.

"He came back by himself," Brianna answered. "Pretty risky and brave. Richy did pretty well."

Richy giggled in response.

"What about you guys?" Kat had asked.

Dan sorta chuckled but refrained at the sight of Ian and Brianna looking at him.

"He pulled the 'fish out of the water' trick," Dan sighed. "If I hadn't known any better, I would've assumed Ian taught him that trick."

"Please," Ian interrupted with a smirk. "Anybody who can control water knows that trick..."

"Are you seriously taking credit for that...?" Brianna muttered.

"Wait," Kat stopped abruptly. "Evan still has his Dragon powers? Why don't you have yours?"

Dan stopped, suddenly thinking.

"Huh?" Ian had stopped as well. "I thought Earl—"

"Evan." Brianna corrected irritably.

"—Evan," Ian raised a brow at her and smirked. "Had some water-based Aura's Gift like mine."

"Ian, we're brothers," Dan rolled his eyes. "You know we're Demi-Dragons."

"How the fuck are you guys related?" Ian asked bluntly, referring to Evan's bright hair in comparison to Dan's dark hair.

"Not the point..." Dan dismissed him and turned to Evan, who looked uncomfortable all of the sudden.

Dan walked up to Evan.

"Evan," Dan said, his demeanor unreadable. "Let me see your arm."

Evan hesitated.

"N-No." he finally said.

"What? Evan, it's just real quick. I'm not gonna hit you or anything."

"Liar!"

"Evan, this isn't a game, give me your arm!"

"No, no! Leave me alone!"

Dan had no choice but to yank his little brother's arm. He heard Kat squeak in protest but, for now, he ignored her.

"No! Let go of me, you meanie!" Evan tried to resist but Dan wouldn't let up.

He rolled up Evan's long-sleeved shirt to reveal teal-colored scales on his arms, a Demi-Dragon trait.
