"Leslie. Leslie..."

Leslie felt a finger poke her cheek and she grudgingly and warily sat up from her comfy seat.

She was still on the underground train with the rest of group two.

Leslie looked up to see Rei, her mentor. She looked across him to see her other mentor, Haru.

"We're almost there, get ready." Rei said in his signature I-could-care-less voice and his cat ears on his head hanging low.

Haru bounced up and down from his seat in anticipation while cuddling his fox plush, Blaze. Leslie smiled at his childish behavior.

But did he know why he was here? Now she kinda regretted bringing him here. What if he gets hurt?

Leslie stretched with the little space she had and peeked out the window.

The train passed through the rocky and dark tunnel that would soon lead to Faun Spirits Village.

The colorful and luminous fairy lights were hung on top of the train so the lighting around the train's atmosphere was limited.

She squinted through the dark tunnels to see something move. Her breathing hitched, thinking it was either a Smoke, or worse, a hooded figure.

But as Leslie wiped her glasses and looked further (realizing that her Faunus traits included night vision), she saw really short men with long beards, pickaxes and miner clothes. All of them in which were mining an unfinished railway.

Were they dwarves? They must be.

Leslie smiled at the thought of all the diverse people of Artopia. So many types... So little time to explore.

Maybe she would find the answers when they make it to the secret library. Wherever that was.

She stopped looking out the window and looked back at her group.

Laney, Colby, Brianna and Emily were the Realities members that were assigned together. Zeke, Ichy, Richy, Serene, Ryoji, Rei and Haru were the only Artopians that made it.

Zeke had mentioned that it won't be easy to get the Land Stone relic as it is with getting the Water Potion relic. So more was enough.

The children chatted only vaguely, but sooner or later, one of the children would say something that would rile up a conversation.

Besides the nocturnal Faunuses and Nighttime Supernatural beings, they were the only ones on the train.

The weird thing was, there was no humans in sight.

Leslie touched on top of her head to feel her cat ears. Thankfully, she wasn't an outcast. Neither was the others.

She felt the train make a complete stop and she looked around to see her group get up from their seats.

"C'mon Auntie Les!" Haru encouraged as he clutched his stuffed fox in the most childish way.

Leslie stretched once more before getting up and picking up her own stuffed bunny, named Reesie.

She cuddled as if it was the last thing she was ever cuddle in her whole entire life.

She didn't know if this was her last time here with the others or not, but she'll try.

For herself and the others.

With the sun not out, there was barely enough light. But Zeke had produced a small light energy ball that floated on his side, giving off a purplish glow.
