Star.
Doesn't sound like a name for a person that is difficult to handle.
But unfortunately, Star was that kind of person.
She wasn't that rude. But she was, in a way, sarcastic and not all that sociable. Just from a look of her appearance, you can tell. Her long jet-black hair, small brown eyes under glasses, peach skin, almost permanent frown and those dark clothes that she constantly wore.
She never liked big crowds and tends to stay away.
She never asked for two mentors.
But she got them anyways. Go figures.
The two mentors were Kazemasa and Kristen. And at first glance, they looked like typical anime characters, and Star guessed that they were.
Kazemasa was a man with emerald green hair, bright blue eyes and pale skin with two scars. The larger scar over his left eye and a smaller scar criss-crossing the larger one horizontally under his left eye. He had a permanent frown as well and wore what a typical ninja might wear, but it was somewhat flashy with its green colors.
The other mentor, Kristen, was a girl a year older than Star. She had dark brown hair swept up in a long ponytail, large violet eyes, light skin and a shy smile. She wore a large cloak with a shining gem on its center and Star could see that Kristen was wearing a regular t-shirt and jeans underneath.
The two days that the three spent wasn't all that pleasant.
Star almost refused to talk to both of the mentors. Kazemasa was displeased with that because he had a tendencies with difficult people. Not really paying attention that he was difficult too. He was just as sarcastic as Star.
Kristen was the complete opposite and seemed to be the cheery one. She was giving a small lesson on Demonic Control (which was keeping your Demonic Form from coming out.) and wanted to give Star something. It was something like a relaxation charm, but Kristen never got into it that far.
Why?
Because she forgot the relaxation charm at her room that's why.
Kazemasa rolled his eyes at that while Kristen was in a terrible mess. Star shrugged it off and tried to calm Kristen. Only to say something sarcastic instead, making Kristen feel worse. Also making Star worse as well.
Sometimes, being sarcastic to others goes unintentionally for Star. Sometimes she doesn't mean it, but says it, because she becomes so fond of it of all her life.
Nice first meeting, that's for sure.

Star sat comfortably the best she could against the chair she was sitting on and bend over to her sketchbook to erase something from her drawing.
It was the Saturday in the afternoon and some of the Reality kids decided to hang at their Artopian mansion. Only half showed up though which was fine.
Star sat at one of what Kat would call, "Café tables" that was located on the top floor of the mansion.
The walls were covered with large windows that showed the large landscape around them, large book shelves filled with thousands of different books on both sides of the room stayed put, lamps on the ceiling that were off at the moment, and an assortment of random colored beanbags and tables stood around the room.
Besides Star, the half of the Realities that showed up were just only the artsy kids.
Kat and Leslie were the ones who were next to her and they all doodle on their pieces of paper.
