Trevor and I walked around the neighborhood for a while, just talking about random things that popped into our heads. We walked quietly for a while, until I finally thought of something to say.

"Trevor, why is the sky blue?" I already knew the answer, but I wanted to see what he would say. Trevor stopped, and looked at me. I looked at him, confused as to why such a simple question would make him pause.

"Because," he began. "Blue is a beautiful color." I give him a puzzled look.

"Um, I'm pretty sure that's not correct." I remind him.He smiles and looks at the ground, clearly embarrassed. His cheeks and ears were a light shade of a rosy pink. I found it kind of cute, to be completely honest.

Trevor looks back up at me and motions forwards with his shoulder. We continue walking in silence for a little while longer, until we came upon a river. This river was brown and gross and I would never, ever swim in it. But the scenery around it made it seem peaceful, very welcoming. I sat down in the grass on the bank of the river and stared out at the water. Every once in a while, a fish would come up and catch a bug, then swim away. Three ducks swam past us, quacking with delight from the amount of fish in the water. A few yards down, a man was teaching his daughter how to fish.

"Andraya," Trevor says. I look over at him, expectingly. Trevor opens his mouth to say something, then closes it, as if he were nervous.

"Yes?" I ask, urging him to spit out whatever it is he's trying to say. He looks down at his hands, and moves one of them to mine. I hesitate under the touch, unsure if I should pull away or allow his hand to be there. I stare at the hand, so confused.

"I said blue is a beautiful color, because I like beautiful things. And under the category of beautiful things, is you." His words stunned me, momentarily causing my brain to falter, my heart to stop beating. I could feel my cheeks turning pink, and I turn away before he could notice. A couple rode past on their bikes, chattering amongst themselves. How I wish to be them, riding away from this awkward scene. Trevor's hand pulls away, after I don't respond. Only today did I forgive him of the crimes he committed against me. I wasn't ready to let him attempt to date me.

The awkward silence was driving me crazy, but I had absolutely no idea what to say. My hand grew cold from the warmth being removed from it. I set it in my lap, attempting to warm it. A bee buzzed past me, making me jump. Trevor glances at me, then looks away. Suddenly, I feel a sharp pinch in my arm.

"Ow! Dammit." I exclaim. Suddenly I felt dizzy. I got stung by that bee. Great. My arm was sore, and I could feel it throbbing as it swelled up. The world around got darker, and I saw Trevor moving frantically, trying to keep me awake. His mouth was moving, but I couldn't hear him. My ears were ringing too loud. Then, everything was dark, and I knew that if Trevor didn't get me to a hospital soon, I would be gone.
