SCARLETT'S POV
"Are you sure it's okay for me to come in?" Aiden asked.

"Yeah of course." I said.

"Well, it's just the two of us and your boyfriend is not home." He said.

"He's in Texas. It's not like he's out doing errands." I said letting him in my house.

"Do you ever wonder if he's cheating on you?" He asked.

"Not really. I've always felt I could trust him. And why do you keep bringing up cheating?" I asked.

"I'm sorry. I was cheated on before. I'm just, I'm just crazy." He said.

"No, no. It's fine. Her loss." I said.

"Thanks." He smiled.

I checked the time.

"We were supposed to run lines two hours ago." I smiled.

"I know. But I felt carpool karaoke was more important." He said.

I laughed.

"Is it lonely?" He asked.

"What's lonely?" I asked.

"Being home alone so often since he travels a lot." He said.

"I mean a little bit. I don't like being by myself for a long time. That's when my anxiety kicks in." I said.

"Is that way you invited me in so quickly?" He asked.

"That and I feel like we're becoming great friends." I said.

"We did spend the last two hours singing One Direction tunes." He said.

I laughed.

"Okay. Now we can run lines." He said.

"Cool." I smiled.

We got out our scripts.

"You have a whole act before I come in, do you want to do those lines and I'll just read for the other people?" I asked.

"That'd be great." He said.

We got through the whole first act.

We got up to before we kissed.

We were about to, but my phone kept going off.

"I'm so sorry." I said.
