SCARLETT'S POV
"So do you feel comfortable with the lifts and everything?" He asked me.

"I think I am. I always get a little anxious before a lift." I said.

"Well, don't worry just take a deep breath before it happens and know you can trust me." He said.

I smiled at him.

On our walk back to my house, a random girl came up and slapped me.

"Okay and what was that for?" He asked.

"You stole my boyfriend and my one shot at true happiness, bitch!" She yelled at me.

"So you slap her? How mature." He said.

"I can do whatever the hell I want. Free country." She said flipping us off and walking away.

"Scar, you're bleeding." He said tilting my chin a little.

"It's okay. We're almost back home." I said.

He ripped off a piece of his shirt and pressed it against my face.

"Why'd you do that for?" I asked.

"I can't just stand here and let you bleed." He said.

"But your shirt." I said.

"I can buy a new one." He said putting his arm around me.

We got back and he took me upstairs to the bathroom.

He sat me on the sink counter.

"This is going to sting." He said putting hydrogen peroxide on a cotton ball and then on my face.

I winced in pain.

"Who even was that girl?" He asked putting a band aid over the scratch.

"I'm going to go with the girl Drew was cheating on me with." I said.

"Those nails did a doozy on you." He said.

"I know. I was kinda there." I said.

He chuckled.

He looked at me.

"You really are beautiful, Scarlett." He said kissing me.
