SCARLETT'S POV
All I felt were his lips on mine.

I just got of a relationship.

Why am I kissing him back?

"I'm sorry! I just. I just uh. I just really like you." He said.

"You really like me?" I asked.

"Yes. Since the day the director said you were going to be my Catherine. I absolutely love spending time with you. And I just got a weird vibe when you said your boyfriend. I mean ex boyfriend travels a lot. And then all this happened and now I like you even more." He explained.

"I'm speechless. I really don't know what to say." I said.

"Damn it. I knew I came on too strong." He said.

"No. No you didn't. I'm just in shock I guess. I wasn't expecting this. Especially since I got out of a relationship like twenty five minutes ago." I said.

"I'm just going to go." He said.

"Wait no. Don't go." I said reaching for his wrist.

"Are you sure? I thought most people like to be alone after a hard breakup." He said.

"Well I'm not like most people." I said.

He sat back down.

"I just don't like to be alone. Especially when I'm in a place like this." I said.

"Okay. I won't leave." He said holding my hand.

"So how'd you guys meet?" He asked as I found two bins of stuff Drew gave me.

"Through Instagram. He saw my headshot for my high school's production of Pippin and he direct messaged me. He just said hey gorgeous." I said folding his sweatshirts into a pile.

"That's so cheesy. And is that why you're doing Pippin?" He asked.

"My first ever high school musical." I said ripping up the letters he wrote me.

"You know, you're quiet calm for someone who just went through a rough breakup." He said.

"Because you're here. You're keeping me grounded. If you weren't here, I would've destroyed my house by now. I would be hysterically sobbing on my kitchen floor." I said.
