Bill's point of view.

Rage, pure unbridled anger, it coursed through my every atom as I fell, foiled by the pines family, again. My whole body glowed red beneath the layer of blue sponginess that surrounded me. I was dimly aware that I was accelerating towards the ground, I calmed myself, it wasn't over yet. Someone in this god forsaken bubble would eventually free me or the blue bobbles would detach or dissolve. Be it a day, a month, a year or a millennia, I would be back to take my revenge on the Pines family. I cursed at myself, I should of killed them when I had the chance. Ordered my minions to tear them apart. Piece by piece! I'd been falling for well over a minute and I braced myself for the landing.

Splash.

A stroke of good fortune, finally, it didn't hurt particularly and these blue balls are probably soluble so would dissolve pretty quickly. I could move my arms a little bit now and I could feel myself become more free. But the pellets weren't dissolving, they were melting, I could hear the hiss as the blue stuff burnt away. In one shocking moment I realised where I was the.

The devolution lake.

The first part of my body, touched the liquid. Molecules flaked off my main triangular structure until I was half my original size. I howled, it didn't hurt, but it was awful. I lost an entire dimension, becoming a series of one dimensional lines. Then a sequence of dots floating in the liquid. I could feel these points begin to vanish as well. My last thoughts were along these lines.

I will have the last laugh, the pines family was still investigate my statue. I've planted that seed. I will return. I curse you Pines family. Ha ha ha ha ha.

Dipper's point of view.

Buzzzzt, buzzzzt. I turned over and slammed my fist on my alarm clock. Damn, I thought I'd turned that off last night. Last night, wow! That was such an adventure. I looked at my alarm clock. It was 6a.m so I'd barely had four hours sleep. I was just about to roll over and go back to bed when I heard the kettle start to sing. Mabel was asleep on the other side of the room and Stan and Ford were definitely asleep. There was no way they'd be up this early. My mind flashed to Wendy. I still can't believe she kissed me yesterday. I felt myself heat up just thinking about it. Maybe she'd come to talk to me early. That way the others wouldn't interrupt us. I bounded out of bed and changed promptly into my clothes before brushing my teeth and combing my hair. I wouldn't normally have gone into this much effort but this could be an important conversation. I made my way to the kitchen.

"Hey, Wendy how's it goi...?" I scrambled out of the room as fast as I could and picked up my journal which I'd put in the lounge. I skimmed through the book quickly for any weaknesses of the creature which was in the kitchen.

"Good morning to you, young sir. I must say you do look just like your sister, though I'm sure you get that a lot. Oh, where are my manners? I am Beaky. I presume you are Dipper? I made a spare tea in case anyone awoke. I'm sure Mabel has already told you about me." I nodded my head slowly in amazement at how well spoken the creature was. I shook the animal's wing and plopped down on the armchair.

"Soooo Beaky, how did you get back through the bubble?" The duck scratched its chin.

"Well honestly, there wasn't much skill involved. Really I just flew very close to its surface just in case I got the chance to leave." I snapped my fingers.

"Of course, when we pushed Bill through the bubble, he was made of material from our world so you could swap places with him. That makes sense." I took a sip from the tea and recounted to Beaky our whole adventure. "I'm sorry we didn't wait around to see what came out from the bubble, you must have walked all through the forest on your own." The duck shrugged.

"Well, I'd been kidnapped once that night, so not too much could scare me. Besides, I'd already walked the trail once." I heard Mabel walk down the stairs and a thought popped into my head.

"Quick Beaky hide, you can surprise Mabel." The duck crept behind the lounge door just as Mabel entered. "Hey Mabel, did you have a good sleep?"

"No not really, I was up all night walking through the forest." She rubbed her eyes sleepily.

"Well I've got just the thing to perk you up! Here he is you know him you love him, the one and only Beaky." I said in my grandest voice. Beaky emerged from his hiding place and ran over and hugged Mabel.

"Beaky!" She screeched at the top of her voice, I held my ears. I left the touching scene but just as I did I heard the shop bell ring. I walked through to the gift shop. It was Wendy.

"Hey Dipper, how are you? Thought I'd clock in on time today, Stan would still dock my pay even if he wasn't up. I imagine he will just for boiling that kettle yesterday." She quipped. I laughed nervously.

"I'm good Wendy, so Beaky's in the living room with Mabel if you want to go see." Wendy's eyes widened for a second.

"That's cool, but I think I'd rather talk to you for a bit. Say, what do you think Ford will have us do next?" I shrugged in response.

"Well whatever it is, I'm sure we'll be doing it together." Wendy tilted her head to one side. "You know, Ford, Mabel, me, you." I laughed again. She sighed.

"You're right Dipper, together."

Stan burst into the room and the moment was lost. Damn it, I should of talked about how I felt.

"Kids! Wendy! Duck Face or should that be newest exhibit. Stop standing around, there's money to be made."
