A poem "My purpose" – a joyful creativity of the author

Dorian Bukowski

„My purpose"

I wake up – and I feel bad

I put my slippers on and think

I feel like throwing up

What's the reason? – I ask myself

and I'm immediately pissed off.

I realize I feel like doing...

... NOTHING! So the reason

lies deeper

Is that depression? Maybe, probably!

Because my life in dark colors I see.

Do I have to suffer?

Maybe not... but, damn it!

Why am I suffering?

I have everything...

Or maybe not...

The lack of purpose

wants me to suffer!

It this my fault?

Now I know it is.

I'm like a rumpled piece of paper

Moved by the wind in all directions.

I don't know where I am and where I will be.

Only because

I don't know what I want!

But when my goal is clear

My problems will be gone.

Now I know why

my days used to

lack their right rhythm.

It brings me will and joy of life

because I know which place

I want to reach.

I begin every day with energy

and like a plane I fly to my goal.

I am not afraid

that my goals are great.

That I cannot see them

and sometimes I'm lost in a cloud.

Because I know that I'm moving in the right direction

And that direction gives my life purpose.

Because the journey itself is fascinating,

soothing, exciting and rousing.

What matters is that I know where I want to fly.

And whether it will happen sooner or later –

It doesn't really matter to me!
