"Isn't that a good thing?" Taehyung asked as he leaned closer. Without realizing it, Jungkook leaned forward to.

"Alright! I hope that's enough time for you to talk. Now, I have some things to go over and pass out. If we can get it done in time. Then we can go outside before and after lunch. How does that sound?" The teacher questioned with a smile. Earning cheers in reply. All but Taehyung who groaned.

The teacher started explaining what gets explained every year. Then, started handing something out and going over that.

Taehyung however, couldn't take his eyes off Jungkook. Although Jungkook would be lying if he said he wasn't stealing glances at the brunette.

Soon, they were outside. Jungkook wanted to go to a secluded corner and practice some of his powers. Unfortunately for him, that's not what happened. Taehyung followed right behind him. When he saw where he was going. He grinned and dragged him over to the dark corner. Away from the prying eyes of the teacher and other students.

"Hi!" Taehyung cheerfully said. Jungkook sighed.

"I don't think..." Jungkook trailed off. He really didn't want to upset the brunette. Though, he might have to for Taehyung's safety.

"You don't think what?" Taehyung had started to frown.

"I don't think you should be around me. I don't think we should be friends. I don't think you're safe when you're around me." Jungkook had his head down in shame. He hated when he had to be mean in any way.

This hurt even worse than any other time. Was it because Taehyung is different? Is he special? What was this feeling Jungkook had every time he caught the brunette staring at him? It also happened every time he tapped him. What ever it is. Jungkook, assumed it was dangerous.

"W-what? Why?" Taehyung whimpered. He thought Jungkook was a jerk. Mean to him for no reason.

Only to be proven wrong with the raven haired little boy. Looked up with tears in his eyes. This was clearly painful to do.

"Look, I know you like this kid. But, you're putting him in danger. I can feel your sadness and guilt. I just don't want to see him hurt. I know you don't want that either. The longer you stay friends with him and the stronger that feeling gets. The closer the Hati will be to killing you." Chase whimpered. Jungkook nodded as he wiped the tears that had managed to fall.

"I... can't tell you. I do like you. But, you should stay..." Jungkook felt Taehyung's lips press against his. Effectively shutting him up. Jungkook froze as he was not sure what to do. He had seen it sure. But, he never really knew what it meant.

When Taehyung pulled away. Jungkook realized what danger the brunette just put them in. He just so happen to look to his left. Just in time to see a kid.

That alone wouldn't be freaky. Except this kid, didn't look shocked. Only stared with a blank look. A closer look would reveal pitch black eyes. A sneer was soon seen on the young kids face.

"Jeontae." The kid muttered in disgust. Jungkook had to try and not let it show. On the inside he was freaking out.

"Taehyung, run." Jungkook instructed. Taehyung only looked confused.

The reason he kissed Jungkook was because he had see his mom do it to his dad. It always shut his dad up. Putting a smile on his dads face as he kissed her back. So, why was Jungkook telling him to run?

"I don't wanna. I want to stay here with you." Taehyung replied as he tried to go in for another kiss.

"Taehyung, I can't. I can't be your friend because it's dangerous. You could get hurt and I don't want that. I do like you a lot. Even though I haven't known you long. I'm sorry. But, right now. You have to run. Look around." Jungkook instructed.

Sure enough. Every other class was inside. The only ones remaining outside were the kids with the pitch black eyes. Who, unfortunately was making their way to the young boys.

"You need to go inside." Jungkook pleaded as he tried to push Taehyung away.

"I... don't want to. Please let me stay with you." Taehyung whimpered in sadness. Not realizing the actual danger they were in.

"I'm sorry. You need to run. Or I'm going to make you." Jungkook's voice suddenly lowered  dangerously.

"Wha..." Before Taehyung could finish. He found himself in his classroom with his terrified classmates.

"Taehyung?! Get down!" The teacher frantically instructed. Now scared, he followed the others and ducked down. He started looking around for Jungkook in worry. Eyes widening as he didn't see him anywhere.

"Where's Jungkook?!" Taehyung shouted in fear.

The teachers eyes widened as well. She peaked out the window. Only to snap it shut. Horror was evident in her eyes. Right along with shock.

"H-he's fi-fine." She stuttered in shock.

"No he's not! He looked scared! I'm worried about him! Where is he?!" Taehyung demanded as he stood up. He went to peak out the window when a sudden blast knocked him down.

Everything had went silent. All eyes were on the door as it suddenly opened. In came a panting Jungkook. He had scratches everywhere. The worst one was on his cheek. That would surely leave a scar.

"Jungkook!" Taehyung shouted as he ran right to him. Not minding the blood, he threw his arms around the younger boy.

"Get off." Jungkook hissed.

"W-why?" Taehyung stuttered as he backed away.

"I warned you to stay away. Now, I'm telling you to stay away. I'm not normal Tae. I will only bring you misery. Now go away and leave me alone." Jungkook growled as he walked away and plopped in to his seat.

"But... I like you. I want to be your best friend. I don't wanna leave you alone. I want to hug you. I want to hang out with you. Please don't push me away." Sobbed Tae in despair.

Jungkook was fighting back tears. He was about to go against his very nature, his very instincts and his personality. But, if it kept Taehyung safe. Jungkook was willing to do it.

"I said stay away and that's what I meant!" Yelled Jungkook as he harshly turned away from Taehyung.

"Fine, If that's What you want." Taehyung mumbled sadly.

'It's not. But, if want you safe. I'll push you away at all costs.' Jungkook sadly thought.

'I'm not giving up on you.' Taehyung thought in determination.

Neither wanted to let go.

Only one knew he had to.

The other wasn't about to give up easily.
