Chapter 4

4 years later:

It's been years since Jungkook has become very cold. He wouldn't even look at Taehyung. It was killing him on the inside. But, he didn't have a choice. He would only ignore the older's attempts at conversation or any interaction.

Taehyung had been trying to get him to smile and laugh with him again. To hang out with him again. But, it didn't seem to be working at all. He only got the cold shoulder.

Now in 9th grade. They had gotten the exact same schedule. Which was rare. Now, Taehyung was going to try extra hard to get his crush to like him back. While Jungkook was going to try and make sure he stays away from Tae.

'I'm going to tease him until he breaks.' Was what went through Tae's mind as he realized they had the same schedule on the first day.

'Shit, it's going to be harder to ignore him. At least I have Jimin in some classes. Why do I have to like Tae? I just want him safe.' Jungkook thought sadly as he realized the same thing.

"Hey, Jimin!" Taehyung shouted as he raced to his friend. The two had become fast friends in the fourth grade.

"Hey, Tae." Jimin smiled back to his friend.

"Can I talk to you about..." Tae got cut off by Jimin groaning.

"My brother? Why don't you go talk to your brother instead?" Jimin hissed. Taehyung never shut up about Jungkook.

"I just don't understand! I've been trying for years to at least be his friend. But, he's cold to everyone. I just want him." Taehyung sighed. Jimin looked at his friend in disgust.

"Aside from the fact that you're talking about my little brother. Do you want him to fuck you or do you want him to hang out with you?" Jimin bluntly put.

"Both. What do you mean him fucking me?" Taehyung emphasized.

"Dude you are so a bottom and I promise my brother would dominate you. Anyway, what's your plan this year? Clearly your 'I'm going to ignore him and see if he notices' plan didn't go as planned." Jimin complained as he was rather annoyed.

He knew the reason why Jungkook was ignoring Taehyung. So did Taehyung's brother, Namjoon. They knew Jungkook was an alien and that he had been ignoring Taehyung for a good reason. To protect him. They had been trying to get Tae to leave Kook alone. But, to no avail.

"I'm going to tease him." Taehyung smirked.

"How?" Jimin's eyes widened.

"Physically and mentally." Taehyung innocently smiled.

"Tae..." Jimin was cut off by the bell.

"Gotta go!" Taehyung shouted as raced away.

First class, Jungkook sat by no one as they didn't have assigned seats. Taehyung didn't give a shit and sat right in it. Jungkook glanced at Tae and then looked away.

Taehyung stared right at him. A sudden surged of bravery coursed through him. He placed a hand on Jungkook's thigh. Leaning in close, he huskily whispered in his ear.

"I'm not sure how much longer you can ignore me." Taehyung pulled away with a smirk.

He didn't even receive a glance. Quickly pissing him off.

'Ah Tae. What are you doing? You might regret it soon. You're putting yourself in danger.' Jungkook still had Chase with him. Chase was currently lowly growling at Tae.

"Hey Chase." Taehyung greeted to the growling pup. The pup let out a strange sound of surprise.

Taehyung huffed as he leaned over once more. Looking around, he saw that no one way paying attention. He went to Jungkook's ear and gently bit it.

"All I want is an explanation. I kissed you for a reason. Then you leave me. Not very nice." Taehyung teased as he went back to nibbling his earlobe.

Jungkook was biting back a moan. He had to try and continue to keep his emotions bottled. Taehyung wasn't very pleased by the lack of response.

"What is it going to take for me to at least get your attention?" Taehyung grumbled.

'Baby, you get my attention everyday. Your doing something dangerous.' Jungkook thought as he turned to Tae with a blank look.

"At least he's looking at me." Taehyung thought in Hope.

He looked to see the teacher walking in. Then, turning to Jungkook. He quickly pecked him on the lips.

Taehyung's phone suddenly buzzed. It was his brother.

Namjoonie:

Taehyung I just walked by your class. What is it about Jungkook? I think you need to leave him alone.

Taehyung only ignored it and focused on the teacher.

Along with Jungkook of course.

As the bell dismissed them for lunch. Taehyung instead grabbed Jungkook and dragged him to a secluded classroom. There was no one in it and it was basically abandoned.

"Park Jungkook!" Taehyung screeched as Jungkook cringed at the surname.

"What?!" Jungkook hissed.

"Finally you say a word to me! Why can't you ever even glance at me?! I won't kidding when I said I kissed your for a reason. I would do it again because I like you." Taehyung muttered in sadness.

It shattered Jungkook's heart to see Tae this upset. He still had Chase with him. So, he turned to him.

"Is it really worth it? Going through this much trouble. Hurting him to protect him. It makes no sense." A single tear made its way down Jungkook's face as he muttered to Chase.

"He could die." Chase reminded him.

"Is that really any worse than hurting him?" Jungkook muttered back to Chase.

"I don't want you to get hurt. I don't want you to get killed. Stay away from me for your own good. " Jungkook tiredly pleaded.

"Your hurting me by keeping me away!" Taehyung argued.

"By staying around me. You could die!" Jungkook argued back.

"I don't understand." Taehyung muttered.

"I can't tell you. I would be breaking the one thing I promised myself." Jungkook answered.

"What is that?" Taehyung took a step closer to the younger.

"Scaring you." Jungkook sighed.

"What could you possibly do that would scare me?"

Jungkook looked over at an object in the corner. Debating with himself.
