Not What He Seems

Chapter 7

The next day at school was normal. Except Jungkook's fangirls saw a difference . So did everyone else who bothered to pay attention .

"Jungkook Oppa! Come sit with me!" An annoying girl squealed.

Jungkook simply glared at her. Going towards his brothers table. It was no secret that Jimin and Jungkook are brothers. It was also no secret that Jungkook sat next to Jimin everyday. So, today it shocked everyone when, instead of sitting next to Jimin.

Jungkook sat next to Taehyung while lovingly ruffling his hair. Taehyung giggled and hugged Jungkook. Everyone gasped as this was rather interesting to watch.

Jungkook did nothing but giggle. Hugging Taehyung back as he continued to grin. Even the others at the table were very confused.

"Jungkook-ah? Why didn't you sit next to me?" Jimin pouted. Jungkook glanced at him. Returning his gaze on Taehyung before speaking to his brother.

"I wanted to sit next to my friend. Besides, you have Yoongi." Jin looked over at them as Jungkook spoke.

"Jungkook, are you dating my little brother?" Namjoon smirked at the chatty pair. Jungkook glanced at Namjoon. Then smirked at Taehyung as he spoke.

"No, but we might be soon." Jungkook chuckled.

Soon lunch was over and they were heading back to the classroom. As soon as they entered. All hell broke loose.

"All students get to a classroom! This is not a drill! I repeat, this is not a drill! There is a gun man on campus and police have not arrived yet! Remain in your classrooms until further..." the intercom was suddenly cut off.

There was a knock on the classroom door. Everyone was shaking in fear as the door handle jiggled.

Everyone, except for Jungkook.

"I know what you're thinking. I say go for it. This is what your parents want you to do when you're older. Why not start off early?" Chase suggested. Jungkook nodded as he walked over to the door.

"Jungkook! Get back here!" The teacher hissed.

"I got this." Jungkook chuckled.

Before the teacher could go get her student. The door was kicked down. Revealing the rather large man carrying a gun.

The gun man was met with a blank faced Jungkook. He sneered at him in disapproval.

"What are you, crazy?! Do you want to get shot?!" The guy yelled in anger. Jungkook only chuckled.

"Go right ahead." The raven haired dared.

The sound of the gun going off was heard not even ten seconds later.

"No!" Taehyung shouted in fear of what might have just happened.

Once everyone got over the shock of hearing the gun. They all looked over. Seeing Jungkook still standing. No blood to be seen. Jungkook picked up something from the ground. Mockingly holding it in front of the guys face.

"Was that supposed to hurt?" Jungkook taunted. Holding the bullet in his hand.

"Hmm. My turn." Jungkook cackled in delight.

His eyes turned blood red. Picking a piece of shattered glass up with his telekinesis. Throwing it right into the intruders shooting arm. He screamed in agony.

"Now! I suggest you leave! The police are waiting for you!" Jungkook shouted in his royal voice.

Even without knowing that he, himself was a royal. He still knew a lot about them. Like, the terrifying voice they possessed.

Jungkook did know about royals. He never believed they were real though.

The guy staggered out the door and ran. Before long, he was handcuffed, taken away by the police.

"Now that that's over. You guys ok?" Jungkook questioned with a smile.

Everyone looked rather scared of Jungkook. The raven head sighed in sadness. That was, until Taehyung walked up to him. Shakily putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Thank you for saving us." Taehyung grinned. Wrapping his arms around the younger. Jungkook hugged back in relief.

"You're not scared?" Jungkook questioned as they pulled away.

"I already told you. I'm not going to be scared of you. No matter what you do. I'm only shocked. But no, never scared." Taehyung reassured.

"Thank you. You just leaned one of my best kept secrets. I'm not human. But, I'll let you figure out what I am and what I can do." Jungkook snickered as he pecked Taehyung on the cheek.

"Hopefully you'll still want to be around me once you learn what I bring." Jungkook sighed.

"How am I supposed to figure it out?" Taehyung whined in confusion.

"Think Tae. Very few know what I am and what I can do. Think and I know you'll figure out who those people are. Then, just talk to them. You'll soon learn what I am. I believe you can figure it out. I hope you won't be scared of me after." Jungkook explained.

"I promised I won't ever be scared of you and I intend to keep that promise." Taehyung stated with confidence.

Taehyung thought about it all day. Until, he came up with someone. After school, he went straight to her.

Jungkook and Taehyung's fourth grade teacher. One of the first ones to know about Jungkook. Taehyung remembered the day she had looked out the window. Horror and shock had been written all over her face.

"Hello Ms. Kim!" Taehyung greeted his former teacher.

"Hello Taehyung-Ah! What can I do for you?" She smiled at her former student.

"Do you remember Jungkook?" Her face slightly paled at the name.

"Yes I do. He was in the same class as you. What about him?" She questioned with faked disinterest.

"Do you remember the day when you peaked out the window? I pleaded you to get him inside. But, you said he was fine. What did you see?" Taehyung questioned the nervous teacher.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." She denied. Taehyung walked over, slamming his hands on her desk to gain her attention.

"I'm trying to find out more about my crush so I can help him. I can see him struggling! I know you saw something that day. It scared you. But, I won't let it scare me. I promised him that no matter what he did. I would never be scared of him. I had a pretty damn good reason. I will never leave him, no matter what. So, tell me what you saw!" Taehyung growled in demand. The teacher was now shaking in fear.

"Very well. That day, when I looked outside I saw." She sighed as she looked up at Taehyung.

"I saw something I can never unsee. Are you sure you want to hear it?" She hesitated.

"Positive." Taehyung insisted.
