mother

You said goodbye so long ago
I cant remember the exchange
Seven years have come and gone
And yet the pain remains

Truth is mother i miss you still
Even after all you did to me
Through all the hate you drill
A daughters love still comes free

I cant remember much from back then
Just the screaming and the tears are left
With small light that remembers play pins
Those small little trinkets I had kept.

Seven years without you mother
Seven years you've kept my brother

And for some reason I still miss you
To be honest after all these years
I thought I would have been through
But even after all this time the tears
They still come.
