Lily's POV
My head is still pounding, I crack my eyes open, and see shoes in front of me. I am sitting in an old wooden chair, tied up. I lift my head, and see one of the guys from last time.
"Looks like she's up. Maybe I should give her one of these too." He says. I can see the huge bruise he has on his cheek. "You know we can't do anything until he gets back." The other says.
And like that, I heard heavy footsteps heading towards us. The door swings open, and there is a very tall man standing there. The others take a step back, probably due to his height. The moment he see's me he walks over.
"Hello, sweetie." He says running his finger down me cheek. I can feel the mate bond twist, his touch burns. I know Alex can feel it. I can feel his rage through the bond. It hurts that I can't be with him.
Snapping back to reality, I jerk my head back from him. "Don't call me sweetie." I say menacingly to him. "Why not, sweetie." He says. "Well, for one, I'm not sweet, and two because I will kill you." I tell him.
He chuckles, and turns around, only to turn back quickly, and I feel pain shot across my cheek. The son of a bitch slapped me. I growl at him. I know that Alex felt that. I can feel his anger through the bond. It's so strong.
"You need to behave yourself, maybe a few days with no food will work. See you soon, sweetie." He says. Him and his minions leave. I wait until I can't hear their footsteps anymore.
Time to get the hell out here. Good thing this room is concrete. I stand up, and stam myself backwards, shattering the chair. I untie the rope from my wrists, hissing a little when I do so, seeing the burn marks from before.
I walk over to see if the door is locked, it isn't. Dumbass. Clearly they underestimated me. Walking over to the pile of broken wood I grab the sharpest piece I can find. I walk over to the door, finding a pitch black hallway. Time to play lights out, and I'm Diana.
