They crept through the woods. They weren't certain they were in the same spot as the fireworks went off, but it felt close. Trees loomed overhead and leaves cracked under their feet. Axel whispered, "Isn't it dangerous to light fireworks in the woods?" Everyone turned their heads to gape at him. Normally he would be the first person to do that sort of thing. "What?" Axel shrugged, "You gotta leave all the dumb decisions and blowing things up to me. That isn't really something anyone average would do." The others rolled their eyes and continued running down the forest. After a while, everyone slowed to a stop, "Too.. much.. running." Axel huffed and sat on the ground. The others panted and nodded in agreement. "I think.." Jess panted, "We're almost... there." Once they got their breath back, they snuck through the woods some more, "I wish she lit more than one firework." Lukas sighed, "It'd be a lot easier to find her."
"Wait." Petra hushed him, "Do you hear voices, or am I just crazy?" Everyone stood silently and listened. Sure enough, there were distant, yet not understandable, voices. They followed the voices and peered above a bush to see Carson and Jesse standing hand in hand facing one another. Everyone gaped. Carson was wearing a suit with his hair slicked back and Jesse was wearing makeup, a short sleeved dress with a bow on her left hip. Her midnight hair was curled and half of it was in a braid. She looked stunning.

"Are they getting married?" Olivia asked quietly. Sure enough, there were about eight guests standing there and a villager priest standing between the two. Petra grinned evilly, "Looks like we've got a wedding to crash."
"I've always wanted to do that!" Axel smiled. "Any objections?" The priest asked, and nobody expected what came next...
"I OBJECT!"
Gasps erupted and heads turned to see Lukas standing there, he had his sword in his hand. The rest of the order jumped out from behind the bush and more gasps followed by questions. Jesse was overjoyed. She let go of Carson's hands and began to run to them, relief lighting up her face. They ran towards her as well. Suddenly, she screeched and jolted a few times as if she were being shocked. She dropped onto her hands and struggled for breath. The others froze.
"What did you do to her?" Jess glared at Carson. Carson frowned, "I didn't do anything. It was her decision to try to reunite with you." Jesse coughed a few times and then looked up at her friends with desperate eyes. They noticed a black ring around her neck. Petra gritted her teeth, "Is that a human shock collar?" She drew Miss Butter and took a step closer to Carson. He tsk'd a couple of times, "I wouldn't recommend doing that Miss Petra. That shock was her second warning. One more step and it's her last one." He lifted up a button.
"You said you loved her!" Lukas yelled out, tears fell from his eyes, "You can't love her if you're hurting her like this!" Carson shook his head, "I truly do. I don't want this to happen to her either. She's just not learning her lesson fast enough."
