MCSM: The Forest Temple

Part 15 (Jesse)

Jesse sat on her couch thinking of the day before. I feel bad saying no to being anything more than friends, but he never asked and probably doesn't even like me. He is the 'cutest guy in town' that all the girls swoon for. Who am I kidding. I feel the same. Except I don't scream and ask for a kiss like they do. Lukas thought of an idea that he would buy hershey's kisses and give those to them when they asked for a kiss. The problem is, lots of guys hit on me too! I don't know if Lukas and I could ever be together. I hope we can.

Knock, knock.

Jesse shook the thoughts away and walked to the door. It was five and Carson was here for the tour. She opened the door and gasped. Carson stood there, clean with his normally messy hair neatly sleeked back. He wore a blue dress shirt, black pants, and leather shoes. He held a rose in his hand with a big smile on his face. Jesse blushed, feeling underdressed. She was wearing her red and white t-shirt with overalls over it and brown boots, "Oh umm, sorry. I thought this was just casual dress.." She instantly felt awkward. He extended the rose to her, "It's no issue, you are already beautiful Princess." He insisted with a wink.

She smiled and accepted the rose, "Thanks," She brushed her hair behind her ear and carefully set the rose on top of a desk, "Should we go now?" He nodded and extended his elbow to her. Jesse would feel awkward rejecting it, so she slid her arm over his, and they walked down the street beginning the tour. She showed him the important places of town.

"Thanks, this was really fun!" Jesse smiled. Carson shrugged, "It was no problem. Thanks for giving me a tour and a great few hours."

While they ate, Jesse noticed Carson try to grasp her hand a couple of times. She casually moved her hand onto her lap before he could. He also kept calling her "Princess", giving her compliments, and insisted to pay for dinner (The last one was pretty nice though). Jesse had a good time aside from his moments of trying to escalate their relationship. "Shall I take you home now, or do you want to walk some more?" Carson asked. Jesse thought of somewhere nearby they could walk to, "Umm, actually I was just going to head to the Order Hall." She purposely chose to go there because it was just down the street. Her house was over three blocks away.

 He agreed, "Okay," They began to walk. Once they arrived, he said, "I had a really great time tonight! We should do this again sometime." Jesse smiled, opening the door to the Order Hall, "We should." Carson stepped closer, "Sweet dreams Princess."

 He leaned in for a kiss...
