I open my eyes in, of corse, Aaron's room. I try to stretch out, but I find that Aaron has moved me as close to him as possible. I'm right up against him. He stirs a little, and he tightens his grip on me. Maybe he's having a nightmare.
"Aph... " He whimpers. Awwwww he is having a nightmare. And it's about me. Poor Aaron.
I cradle his head, and kiss his forhead. His muscles relax. A sense of life returns to his face. Wait, did I wake him up? Crap crap crap crap crap I'm gonna die I can't! I did something lovey-dovey and now he'll tease me about it. Nice going, potato.
Aaron opens his eyes, and stretches out his legs. He looks at me, and smiles. I immediately mentally fail.
"G-good morning," I stutter in a high voice. I realize I'm still cradling his head, so I quickly remove my hands. Aaron chuckles. Oh crap.
"What were you doing?" He asks with a grin.
"N-nothing," my voice cracks. He laughs.
"That's new," He says. Wait, did his voice sound different?
"Aaron, I swear I heard some kind of difference in your voice. Is your throat sore or something?" I feel his head, only to find no difference in heat. He lightly grabs my arm off his forhead.
"Aph, it's called a morning voice," He smiles. Crap, the difference was smexiness. I cup my face with my hands.
"I never noticed you had a se-... an attractive morning voice," I was going to say something else, but I couldn't bring myself to say sexy-I mean... um...
Aaron laughs. "You said that last part outloud too," He says with a huge smile. Crap.
"Oh my-" I let out a long sigh. Aaron laughs harder.
"Do you not like my voice? I can always change it," He deepens and smooths his voice, making it worse for me.
"Aaron, I swear," I look at him with squinted eyes. He takes his hands off of me, and holds them up in surrender. We both laugh, and he kisses my forhead.
"We should probably get up. Are you hungry?" He asks as he sits up. I nod, but then I look over to see my note on his bedside table. I grab his arms.
"U-um actually..." I look at the note. He follows my gaze, and sees the note. He picks it up.
"A heart?" He asks, gesturing to the heart I had drawn on it. I blush.
"U-uhm... before you open it, uhhhh," I try to stall, scared of the way he'll respond to the note.
"Should I be scared?" He asks with a chuckle. I look at him.
"Um... maybe? Just... I will be downstairs, waiting for your... reaction..." I struggle with english.
"Is it a bad thing?" Aaron asks, a little concerned.
"No, it's not. I'll be downstairs," I smile, and stand up off of his bed. As I walk away, I can hear him open the note. I walk a little faster. I walk downstairs, and make my way to the kitchen island. I sit down, and anticipate his reaction. As I wait, every second feels like an hour. Oh right, I forgot he has to use Google translate. I slightly chuckle to myself.
Then, my little laugh is interrupted by sheer panic as I hear him coming down the stairs. Crap crap crap I can't look at him. But I have to.
I force myself to look up at him, and he has a huge smile. He's walking up to me. Oh god, what do I do?! Before I can decide for myself, he kisses me. As I kiss back, he brings one of his hands up to my cheek. I can feel him smiling against my lips. He breaks the kiss, and he still has a huge smile. I'm still in a daze. He keeps my face inches from his as he wraps his other arm around me.
