Epilogue

Jimin and Jungkook had joined a dance studio as choreographers for idol groups. Though many talent scouts had wanted them, they had gone with Miss Kim who had offered them a place at her company. They did not regret this decision even once. The job was challenging and satisfying like nothing else they could imagine, and occasionally the Miss would invite them to university to guide a class on her behalf.

It had been two years since Yoongi had given Jimin the promise, and they still were in contact. Yoongi had made himself a name as rapper and producer and always kept Jimin updated on his work. The composer mostly worked for single artists, so though they were working in the same business and the same city they had not met once. Partly that had been caused by Jimin's fear to mess things up again and to anger Jungkook.

However, today was one of the days that the older had decided to share some of his work with them and he had received a message from Yoongi that linked to his newest music video and a track that was on the mixtape he had released.

Jungkook and him currently were sitting on the floor of their dance studio and watched the video. Though his boyfriend was a very jealous person, he had forgiven Yoongi quite fast after Jimin had explained everything.

And today, the raven once more had to admit that the composer was talented.

But when they listened to the extra track, the unbelievable happened. Jungkook's eyes began to water. The strong and unshakable Jeon Jungkook was close to crying while he held his sobbing boyfriend.

"I didn't know," the raven said shakily when Jimin had dried his cheeks. "I didn't know he suffered so hard."

Jimin stayed silent, still shaken by the song. He had known. All too well.

"Do you want to visit him?" his boyfriend asked.

He just stared at the screen of his phone for a moment. It had been two years, so after gathering all the courage he had, he decided it was time to face his inconvenience and meet his old friend again. "Yes, but only if you come along." He lifted his eyes to meet Jungkook's.

The raven nodded knowingly.

"This feels weird," Jimin said when Jungkook pressed the bell push of the big house they were about to enter.

His boyfriend just chuckled and stepped back behind him.

When the door opened a small, fluffy honey-colored dog ran around their legs, barking happily. But what was even more stunning was the wide gummy-smile on the now black-haired Yoongi who stood in the door.

"Darling, were did you put the peppermint-syrup?" they heard a deep voice from inside and in the next moment a tall, tanned man with a wide, rectangular smile appeared behind the composer.

"Hello. My name's Kim Taehyung. I'm Yoongi's boyfriend."

So, I didn't intend to write a happy story. I wanted to write a realistic story. Those analogies and metaphors of Yoongi tended to be my own as well as Jimin's connection to music, so this story is very personal to me. That's why I struggled so long with the decision whether I should publish it or not. Actually, there had been a time when I had had to put the story aside because I wasn't ready for reflecting upon my problems and kind of had a relaps because of writing it. But several weeks later I was able to finish it what proved to me that I was back on track and finally able to handle life again.

The Epilogue was meant to show that even when you think the way Yoongi did there is always a way back into life by professional help. Even simpe basic rules like eating properly and sleeping properly have a greater effect than one might expect. But sometimes you need a stranger to tell you that and to force health upon you.
