FACT#⃣5⃣ Game of Thrones Was Supposed To Be a Movie
The TV series "Game of Thrones" is based off of a series of novels, called "A Song of Ice and Fire." After the release of the first book, "A Game of Thrones," author George R.R. Martin was immediately approached by producers looking to make the series into a movie saga. Martin said no because too much of the series would have to be cut out for a film adaptation. Martin did, however, consent to the books being adapted into a TV series.
