FACT#122: Another visit to Cushing Library reveals interesting original A Game of Thrones manuscript find.
Reddit user _honeybird has once before gifted us all by chronicling her visit to the Cushing Library on the Texas A&M campus, in her journey through the George R.R. Martin manuscripts. Her much ballyhooed first visit yielded the debunking of a very popular, albeit fading fan theory. And her second visit was just as amazing.
Honeybird's latest trip wasn't so much a rare manuscript find, although there is more about what she did come across, later. But rather, it was the glorious pictures she was able to take of the Game of Thrones / ASOIAF weaponry, that came to Cushing as part of the Deeper than Swords exhibit.
On her Reddit account, Honeybird posted what she found...and I am completely envious.
"I went back to Cushing today! I got partway through the AGOT manuscript (more about that later) and I took a bunch of pictures of the replica weapons in the collection." Jon Snow's sword from the show, Longclaw. (ABOVE)
