FACT#132: Maisie Williams on Arya's changes, filming in parking lots.
Maisie Williams had some interesting things to say on Arya's journey in the upcoming Season 5 of Game of Thrones, when Access Hollywood talked to the actress during the a pre-SAG awards party.
"I say this every year, it's like, 'Arya's changed,' but this year, as an actor, it was quite difficult for me because 'Game of Thrones' is sort of my safety net, my comfort blanket, because I come back every single year and it's the same crew and stuff. This year was the first year that I was kind of like, 'This is not the Arya that I am used to.' And yeah, it was a big jump and I'm really nervous actually, for everyone to see it."

Arya's Season 4 story ended with a goodbye to The Hound (Rory McCann), and the beginning of a trip across the Narrow Sea. Maisie also dropped a neat little bit of information about that last shot of her, sailing away to Braavos.
"It was a good end to her storyline, but yeah, it was an epic shot and people kept Tweeting me like, 'Where was that filmed?' and I'll be completely honest with you, it was filmed in a car park, with a green screen, so, on the day it wasn't quite as epic as it looked by the end. But, yeah, it was fun."
I always enjoy little stories like this. Arya's story will probably begin in Braavos in Season 5, and her journey there should be quite enjoyable to watch. Now I'm wondering about other scenes being filmed in other various car parks.
