Chapter 7

Aubri

His legs were starting to walk away from my point of view. I reached my hand out to bring him back but he kept going. The room was closing in and I was getting claustrophobic. “Jaden no! I have to tell you­” I screamed. He turned slowly to reach back for me. He opened his mouth to talk but no sound escaped. “Jaden I­-” I started to tell him something but Daric came from the darkness and stepped between us. I tried to scream as if Daric were a monster. “Stop STOPPPP!” I screamed. 

*Boom Boom Boom* *Ding-­dong* “It was just a dream, nothing else,” I whispered to myself once I realized someone was at my door downstairs. I ran to the bathroom to brush my teeth. But then whoever it was at the door knocked again. I just went down with a brush in my mouth and one of those silk Victoria Secret fashion show robes Lane bought me. I whipped open the door to a smiling Jaden Smith.

Jaden

"The hell are you doing at my door?" she said dumbfounded. "I came to apologize, and you wouldn't answer the phone." I shrugged. She just blinked at me, then tried slamming the door in my face. "Can I come in please?" I asked pushing the door back with my foot. "You’re kidding." 

"No seriously, and what ever happened to southern hospitality Ms.Virginia?" I asked moving past her into the house. I walked all the way back into her kitchen like I’ve been there before and put my bag down on her table. "I brought you a refresher, and some candy. Oh, and I got you this," I said putting the stuff out on her counter. "Thanks," she smiled, bringing the straw to her lips. "That’s not all, here I got you a couple tees from Stussy, and you know I had to get you MSFTS gear as well " 

"Jaden.." she laughed

"I was being a little selfish last night and I realized that we’ve only known eachother for 2 days, but I like you and I’m sorry for acting that way… Forgive me?" I said with a weak smile. 

"Of course. You were being an ass…But yeah I forgive you." She smiled, reaching her arms out for a hug. 

We squeezed for a minute before she realized she still had on a robe. “Ew, I look gross” she said starting to walk to her stairs. “Lies,” I said following her. She stops abruptly.

"Um, I’m going to shower, that’s a one person job."

"Is it?" I raised my eyebrows.

"You’re nasty." She left me downstairs.

I walked around and stopped in her family room which had pictures of her from when she was a baby to now on the walls. For twenty minutes I sat on her couch thinking of lyrics until my phone rang. 

"Hey Lane." 

"Did you do it?" 

"Yeah we made up and then some," I grinned even though she couldn’t see me. 

"Shut up, she’s not even with that. Good job though player." 

"Yeah thanks." 

"Okay I might see you later," she hung up like she always does. 

I could hear Aubri moving around upstairs and talking to someone on the phone. “Okay I’m done!” she announced running down the stairs. She was wearing one of the shirts I gave her and some high waisted shorts with cheetah print high top Adidas and her hair was straightened down her back. All under half an hour. “You look good.” I said checking her out. “Thanks,” she said walking towards the front. “Okay so do you want to come eat with us?” I asked. “Sure why not?” We left out of the door and into the driver's ride.

Aubri

Jaden and I arrived to and we walk in and see Lane, Moises and Mateo waiting for us. “Hey guys,” I greeted everyone then sat down in the booth next to Lane. “Aubri!” Mateo and Moises greeted. Jaden slid into the booth next to me. “AUBRI LOVES ME AGAIN,” Jaden announced immaturely and everyone laughed. “Boy bye. I don’t love anyone,” I said shoving his arm. “Except Daric,” Lane chuckled and Mateo’s head shot up like he knew something. “What?” Jaden asked. “Lane, you’re on bath salts, Daric and I broke up.” I said, slapping her arm. “Get off me!” she exclaimed and everybody looked confused. “Relax.” Teo said stopping us from hitting each other.

  We ordered our food and talked until Stella walked through the door and made her way to our table. Fucking cool beans. “Hey my little Msfts,” she smiled, standing at the end of the table. “Hey Mateo,” she smiled, running the back of her hand down his cheek. “Hold up,” Lane dropped her phone on the table. “Oh sorry Lane I couldn’t see you hiding behind all that……weave,” she said flatly. “Mateo, make her leave. NOW,” Lane said calmly but balling her fist like she was ready to hit something. “Hey Stella. I’m not trying to be rude but um, why are you here?” Jaden asked for me. “I kinda texted her saying that I was coming here for lunch,” Moises spoke up, looking guilty. “Oh so Moises, you’re the one on bath salts?” I said kicking his leg. “Ow, yeah um Stella this is a private meeting,” Moises said politely to her. “This is a ‘meeting’ but y’all are here with these two. Cute,” she smiled. “Fine I’ll leave,” she turned and started walking to the door. “Oh yeah Jaden, I found some of your clothes you left at my house,” she said looking at me before turning to leave.

 ”Wow,” Mateo said once she was gone. “Woooow. Clothes?” I laughed. “Yeah from when we dated, she probably tried cloning my DNA or somethin” he said. “Look at you, sleeping over at girls houses,” I smirked.

"Boys are boys," he shrugged, "and you’re next." 

"Oh really?"

"Really."

"We’ll see about that," I laughed looking away from him.

"Oh my god. Get a room. And some trojans," Lane said causing everyone to laugh. The food came and all the boys started eating like savages before Lane and I even got to pick up our forks. "Wow you guys eat slow," Moises stated. "No we eat like normal civilians," Lane said and I nodded in agreement. We finished up and left the restaurant. "Okay so are y'all hitting up the studio with me?" Moises asked. "More songs?" I asked Jaden. "No, my studio, photography," Moises explained and I got happy that I wouldn’t have to be embarrassed in another recording session.

Jaden

"Welcome to the lair." Moises said creepily opening the door to his photography studio. "This is amazing." Aubri gasped and did that cute astonished face. "Glad you like it," Moises smiled putting his camera bag down. "Okay so Aubri and Jaden would you two mind doing some of my love collection posing for me?" Moises asked and Aubri automatically shook her head no. "C’mon, I’m not gonna try anything" I encouraged her and she was stubborn and shook her head again. "Aubri, Teo and I already did it. Y’all look cute together so it’ll come out great," Lane said and we all nodded in agreement. "You know you want to," I said softly in her ear. "Fine." she gave in and Moises got his camera’s ready. "So I want shots of you guys playing around and looking in love," Moises explained to us. We got on his set to take the pictures and Teo played his music on the speakers.

 The first one, I wrapped my arms around her from behind with my head by the nape of her neck and she grinned looking at the floor. “There you go!” Lane said from the couch. In the next pictures we were messing with props, then we were dancing around and Moi took a few more pics.

For one set he told me to lay on the couch and hold Aubri’s body in the air over me while she had her arms out like an airplane. We were supposed to act like we were having fun but we really were. She lost her balance and fell on top of me, Moises caught her laughing and kneeling over me, our faces barely an inch apart. “I got that bro!” Moises said excitedly from behind the camera. “You guys might just be a little too believable,” Lane laughed. “What’s so wrong with that,” I looked over at her and Aubri started grinning. “Last shot man, make it good,” Moi said.

 The final one; Aubri had to wrap her arms around my neck and I had to wrap mine around her waist. We had to stare at eachother. We did as told and remained calm about it. “Closer,” Moises instructed. “Closer.” “A little more.” Our noses were almost touching and I watched her creamy brown eyes captivate me. I didn’t even realize what I was doing and I don’t think she did either. I kissed her. Oh my God I kissed her. Like with my lips and her lips. “Buahahahahahahahahahaha!” Lane broke into a hysterical laughing fit. “Brooo!” Mateo laughed, joining her. “Oh wow, um.” Aubri pulled away from me and walked to the couch. She wouldn’t look up at me. Lane and Mateo were still trying to compose themselves. Moises ran to look back at the film,
