I escaped from my friends and made it home before the moving van was completely packed. The goodbye was pretty depressing but I’m moving on to bigger and better things right? My iPhone buzzed obnoxiously from my bed and I jumped over to view the text. It was from my boyfriend
Daric: I’m going to miss you Brii<3
Me: I knoww, Ima miss you too. You sure you wanna do this long distance thing?
Daric: Yeah. That’s why they have skype, oovoo, phones, wifi, texting….
Me: Okay Okay I get it(:
Daric: Yeah so we’ll keep in touch, k babe
As much as I wanted to smile and respond k back I couldn’t. Daric cheated on me twice last year with my “best friend” and I still have trust issues from that. I sighed a deep breath and typed what I needed to type.
Me:I know you’re ‘over that’ but how do I know you won’t cheat on me?
Daric: With who? Idgaf bout these other girls! they arent you. I love you, not them.
He dropped the L word. I don’t know how I feel about that, I don’t even believe in that.
Me: I believe you (:
Daric: Good. Now get some rest bby I know you got an early flight
Me: Night, I’ll call u when i land.
Daric no doubt was very, very attractive. Curly brown hair, green eyes, and abs. Oh lord his abs.. I would miss that tomorrow but I guess long distance will do. My LA home looks so much better than the one here. Three bedroom four bath with a backyard infinity pool. It came furnished so all of our old furniture is getting donated. I took a shower, brushed my teeth, and went to bed.
