Emily's POV

My mum agrees that I should go back to school. So that's where I am. Walking into school. On time for about the 4th time ever. As I walk into Mr Conor's classroom. He looks glad to see me. I don't quite know why. The class fills up rather fast. Chris walks in and is shocked to see me. He stopped at the teachers desk as Mr Conor says something to him which causes him to walk away. Jai is coming in later he said something about it being a surprise for a later date. Which could mean anything at this point.

Mr Conor is back teaching the lesson with Miss I forgot her name taking notes. She sat at the back on the seat next to where I sit. I go to sit down and she starts to move her notes.
'You don't have to move or anything. I'm sorry for the other day' I say smiling. I think I just said I'm sorry what am I doing.
'It's okay Miss Wilks I was warned and I pushed you to far I shouldn't have said those things there unforgivable for that I'm truly sorry' She says looking at me and her notes.
'It's okay. I shouldn't have let it get to me' I say sitting down. She slips me some pieces of paper.
'The notes from the lessons you missed' She whispers.
'Thank you' I whisper back.
'Miss Wilks stop talking' Mr Conor says as I go to start shouting back.
'Sorry that was my fault I started to talk to her' Miss says. I make a note to thank her later she's the only teacher apart from Mr Conor before that even spoke to me in a positive way. The others just start shouting straight away. As the bell sounds Mr Conor dismisses us bit tells me to wait behind after class he tells miss she's okay to go he'll meet her in the staff room.
'I wanna talk to about your absence at school' He says. I can't say I wasn't expecting it. His eyes harsh. He looks angry like a teacher. Like the first time he taught me before he realised why I'm like what I am.
'Yeah sorry about that Mr Conor. I'll get you a note from the hospital' I say smiling.
'Hospital. Why are you okay' He says his eyes soften a little.
'Like I said I'll get you the note. That's standard school procall is it not' I say trying not to smirk.
'Yeah it is bit I think we both know that not a lot of what we've done or said in this classroom is standard procall' He says coming closer to me. I can feel his breath.
'What ever you think that happend it didn't. I think it'd about time we both moved on' I say smiling.
'So is this it. No more us' He says looking at my lips.
'Nope. No more us. It's messing my head up to much' I say smiling walking away.

I walk into the cafeteria I see Jai sat there looking at the table not at the sight in front of him. Brit and Chris awkwardly flirting with each other.
'We created that. I'm not proud of my actions' I whisper to him placing the food in front of him.
'There cute but I'd rather see them make out at the moment than what ever there doing. Why you so late anyway' He says turning to me.
'Talking to Dan. Were done for good. I've had enough' I say smiling eating a French fry.
'Your serious this time. I can tell it's in your eyes. So we're both single again. How has your brother and the nerd got a partner but we haven't' Jai says laughing.
'We have each other and we've had more sex in the past month than they've had in there lifes' I say laughing.
'What colour is your dress for Homecoming' Jai says opening tomato sauce. My stomach starts to flip.
'I don't know I'm going shopping for it this weekend with my mum and Jacob. I'm think I'm gonna be sick' I say as he throws the packet full of sauce across the room.
'I forgot about smells. Sorry' He says looking straight into my eyes.
'It's fine. I've booked an appointment for Saturday morning will you come with me please' I say as he holds my hand.
'You don't even have to ask. Of course I'll be there with you. I love you' He says.
'I love you too' I say as he leans in and kisses me.

We've been kissing alot lately. It's not that I don't feel anything. It's the fact he's my bestfriend and I shouldn't always be kissing him but I think I want to. I need to work it out in my head first before I even start to say it out loud.

We have another lesson with Mr Conor straight after lunch. As I walk in I see the head stood there with Mr Conor talking.
'Miss Wilks could you wait outside for a second' The head says.
'Yeah of course' I say as he looks shocked at the fact that one im on time and two the fact I didn't fight him about it.

We've been standing outside for about 10 minutes. Mr Parker the head walks out. 'I'll let you tell the students' He says looking straight at Mr Conor as he looks at the floor. Tell us what.
