"Order at table four! Extra large spider donut!" Spencer shouted to the kitchen from the white counter. A faint, "Got it!" floated back to him from the kitchen.
"That'll be thirty gold." Spencer said to the man who bought the donut. The man paid and went to a table. Spencer smiled, happy to be working this job again. He had an ambassador meeting that night, and he wanted to relax beforehand.
Katie was in the kitchen of her house, cooking for her loving skeleton and her twins. Sans was sleeping on the couch, and the twin girls were with their uncle Papyrus at his house. Katie had to go to the same ambassador meeting, but before that she had to see the president. She wasn't looking forward to seeing Donald Trump again for the about 37th time. Katie did keep count, and she already knew what he was going to talk about. "Why didn't you leave the monsters there? We need a way to keep their numbers in check!" She knew he would say. Katie rolled her eyes as she finished some mexican tacos, she then felt boney arms wrap around her waist and someone lean their head on her shoulder.
"You never did tell me about the PTA meeting for the way human children were treating the monster children and our twins." Katie said as she took a sideways glance at her husband. Sans groaned and buried his head into Katie's shoulder, which made her laugh. She knew how bad it could get for anyone that knew a monster, and she was the only one that could scare the living shit out of anyone there. Only the teachers was understood why she was so terrifying.
"I. Hate. Linda..." Sans said into Katie's shoulder, which made the girl laughed more.
Spencer got home and started to get ready to see the president. He showered, brushed his teeth, dressed in his signature light grey suit with purple tie, and put on just a smidge of cologne. Normally, he wouldn't but it was the president after all. "How the hell did he get two terms in office? I really don't like people sometime." He sighed, and walked into the living room when he heard his wife come home. He smiled at her. Their beautiful daughter, Arachne, hugged his knee. She was just five years old. Spencer laughed and picked her up. She was the first human-monster hybrid ever born and she was a unique one to say the least. She had only two arms, and two eyes, but her big eyes were pure black, she had the smallest, most adorable little fangs, and her skin was light purple. She also happened to be the most perfect little girl either parent could ask for. Her hair was tied up in two little pigtails, just like how her mom used to wear them. She kicked her legs, indicating that she'd like to be put down. Her father obliged, and she ran off to color in her room.
"Hi. How'd it go?" Spencer asked, slightly breathless. She looked stunning in her red and purple coat with black fur trim. It was rather cold out in the city today. She was slightly agitated, but she smiled back, tired. Spencer walked over to her, holding her in his arms. He kissed her on the head, trying to comfort her.
"You okay?" Spencer asked, still holding her. She shook her head, tears welling up in her eyes.
"That Linda, do you know what she did?" Muffet asked, angry. Spencer shook his head and she explained. "Arachne went into the classroom and started playing with Linda's son. He was a nice boy, and the two were playing together. They built a little castle, and then knocked it down, and it was so cute. Then Linda noticed and grabbed Arachne's arm. She called her a freak and told her never to play with her boy ever again. Arachne was crying and I was about to do something when Sans stepped in. He floated Arachne over and held her.
'It's okay, kiddo. Puncle Sans' got ya. Don't cry, you're fine. Why not go play with your cousins?' Sans had said. She'd stopped crying and ran off to play with the twins. But I was ready to slap that bitch. Sans said had walked over to Linda and said something to her. I don't know what he said, but she got all pale. But I'm still pissed. Why would she do that to Arachne? She such a sweet little girl." Muffet said, crying as she said the last part. Spencer held her, not caring that his suit was getting covered in tears. He had a spare anyway.
