Katie watched with a glare as Trump continues, and he went on that monsters were evil beasts that need to be kept under the heel of the humans. A monster made a break for Trump, but was stopped by Katie. She had her hand on the monster's chest as they shouted about how Trump himself was the true monster, but stopped when they noticed the glare of the goddess. She lightly pushed the monster back and shook her head, and the monster went back to their seat. Every human in the room and whoever was watching the trial at home was shocked at this ambassador's restraint to go after the president.
The judge threatened the monster with expulsion from the courtroom if they could not keep themselves in check. They quieted and sat down, and Phoenix continued on his speech. His words were swaying the jury, and Spencer started smiled. Phoenix couldn't lose.
Katie went back to her seat and watched Trump as he stared in shock at the human monster. She gave the carrot man a small smile that then turned into a glare. She gave the president a reason to fear her.
"Don't do anything stupid now." Chara thought to the girl and she looked over to them.
"Oh, don't worry. I am going to make sure that he knows that he will lose. And he is going to fear the name of Katelyn M. McEwen." Katie thought as she went back to watching Trump.
After another hour of legal crap, Phoenix put away his papers. Spencer stood and walked down the center aisle, dodging questions and insults as he got into the police cab to bring him back to his cell.
Katie went home and invited all the others to stay for dinner, which everyone agreed. Ink and Error went back to the void for reasons that were unknown to most, as only Katie knew what was going on with the two. She didn't tell anyone what was going on with the pairs thoughts, but she knew the sweet, sweet feeling of love as they did.
Spencer mostly spent his time writing down the chronicles of what his cousin and he had been through since they had fallen into Mt. Ebbott. He had just reached his duel with Furorem Vis, when he heard a voice.
"You cannot hold us forever!" Furorem shouted in his head. Spencer smiled.
"Think of the devil." Spencer thought. He looked inside his mind, and saw Furorem Vis in a cell of glass. The very incarnation of hatred and power was furious, and stalked the empty cell like an angry wolf. Spencer simply raised an eyebrow.
"Can't I? You haven't escaped in the last ten years, why not keep you forever?" Furorem Vis bared his teeth, and punched the glass as hard as he could. Nothing happened.
"Why do you do this?" said a voice behind him. Turning, Spencer saw Fortitudo Gaudium in a similar cell. But his cell had full furnishings. A bed, a chair, a desk stocked with all sorts of things to do. But he forewent that and sat on the ground up against the back wall. Spencer simply smiled sadly.
"I've said before, but I'll repeat myself. I love my cousin, but I do not always trust her. I must be strong enough to stop her, just as she is strong enough to stop me." He replied. Furorem Vis cackled,
"So you're Batman and she's Superman?" Spencer shrugged, approving the comparison.
"I need you two for that. I have been doing some research, and I think that I could stop her if I tried."
"What?!" Katie's voice rang out and she was almost right behind him in his own mind. "You really think I would do that? You have no faith." The voice changed ever so slightly so anyone could tell this wasn't Katie.
Spencer laughed shortly.
"Nice try, Vis. But she can't enter my mind without my permission. You know my mind is strong enough to repel hers. She would have to break my mind permanently to find out about this. And she'll not do that." Vis shrugged,
