Jongin groaned at the amount of lights the media was flashing at him, all the reporters yelling at him to turn around and give a little speech. This was most certainly not how he wanted to spend his Wednesday. He wanted to just relax and have fun shopping with the person he loved more than anything, but the stupid media seemed to have other plans for him.

"Don't look at them," Jongin said, feeling very piqued when Kyungsoo turned around to look at the yelling reporters. "Ignore them and pretend like they're not there. They're very annoying."

"Yes, but it's kind of hard to pretend like they're not there when all I hear is them yelling," Kyungsoo reasoned. Jongin just rolled his eyes and continued to push the shopping down the aisles, mentally thanking the store owners for keeping the media out of the market.

"Why couldn't I just live a happy and peaceful life without anyone bothering me?" Jongin complained. Kyungsoo strolled next to Jongin while patting his back reassuringly, hoping that the media wouldn't find out about them dating. Maybe in the near future, they could let the world know about their relationship, but as of now, only Chanyeol and Baekhyun knew about this relationship.

"Mr. Kim Jongin, would you please say a few words about the company?!" One reporter shouted from outside.

"What is your relationship with the boy you're with?" Another reporter yelled. Jongin ignored the questions thrown at him and continued to pick out things he needed to buy.

"Jonginnie," Kyungsoo called, and Jongin looked over to see him holding out a pack of uncooked spaghetti noodles, "can we please get these? I want to cook spaghetti tonight for us."

Jongin smiled at how cute Kyungsoo looked. "Sure, anything for you, baby." Kyungsoo squealed and placed the spaghettis in the cart before running off to look for more things. Jongin just chuckled and shook his head. Kyungsoo was just too cute for him to handle.

"Mr. Kim Jongin, please update us on how the company's going!" A reporter shouted, and Jongin wanted to laugh. As if he gave a crap about how the company was going. He'd rather the company just burn down.

"How are things going with Ms. Soo Jung?" Jongin tensed at the mention of her name. He was hoping he would never have to hear that woman's name ever, but of course he should've known it wouldn't be possible.

"Is it true that you're planning to marry Ms. Soo Jung next year?!" Jongin stopped pushing the shopping cart around and froze. Kyungsoo, who had heard the reporter's question while he walked back to Jongin with a box of chocolate chip cookies, held his breath as he watched Jongin's expression harden. He was hoping someone wouldn't ask that because he knew how Jongin reacted to her name, and it wasn't pretty. Kyungsoo sighed and placed the cookies in the box as he pretended not to notice the change of atmosphere.

Jongin, on the other hand, was ready to snap that reporter's head. He would never marry that Jung Soo Jung for as long as he lived. They were nothing and they will forever be nothing to each other. Unless - and this is what Jongin didn't want to think about - Jongin did end up marrying her and was separated from Kyungsoo forever.

"Jongin," Kyungsoo whispered uncertainly, gently shaking Jongin's shoulder to get the older male to snap out of his thoughts. "Let's go." Jongin blinked a few times before nodding and pushing the shopping cart along to the cashier, but his insides churned uncomfortably with qualm.

After paying for their bought goods, Jongin purposely held Kyungsoo's hand tightly and pushed past the reporters that continued to swarm around the store and flash their cameras' lights. Jongin knew that by holding Kyungsoo's hand in public, he was risking their relationship, but he wanted them to stop talking about Soo Jung or else he might murder one of them. He was dating Kyungsoo and that was final.
