When I finally got home, I ran straight to my room plump on my bed, and fell asleep.

I woke up to a loud crash by my bedroom window. As I walked slowly towards the source of the noise, I saw Chad outside standing there with his hands in his pockets. "Rose!" he calls, "Rose! I'm sorry!"

I rolled my eyes, "Get out of here! Before I call Ivy!"

"Still a princess, I see? Just so you know I'm not here to ask you to come back."

"Good." I lean against the window frame, "Because there was no way I could come back to you if there was never a time that I was with you!"

He chuckled, "I'm not interested on a puny adopted princess; I never was!"

"Ok…"

"Seriously, I never liked you!"

I closed the window.

"I am with Kelly… she's beautiful and independent nothing like you!"

I walked away from the window. "Hey Ivy, can we turn on the sprinkler? The lawn is looking a bit brown." I ask.

As the sprinklers turns on, Chad starts to curse my name to the wind. Ivy, Ana, and I watched through the downstairs window. "You know," Ivy smirks, "for a guy who claims not to be interested in you, he sure does make it a point to make you jealous?'

I chuckled.

"We really should stop…" Ana sighs.

"Let him get soaked, Anastasia, he deserves it and so much more for what he did to Sera."

He began to transform into a cat.

"Of course…" I realize. "Chad's a cat the Cheshire Cat from Wonderland."

"Feel better?" Ivy smirks.

"Yeah, now I do." "But how did you know?"

"Well, for starters he liked Kelly more than you and that never happens…"

I glared at her.

"I just meant no guy in the right mind would ever like another girl more than you… I feel like I've said this before but everyone loves you so when Chad fell for Kelly and more in love than he was with you… I knew he wasn't human, so I went into a little digging and found that Cats were attracted to witches…"
