We were playing in the ice when the hat flew to the other side of the ice. Ela went to retrieve it, then Anastasia followed her and they both fell in the ice. Father went to save them not wanting me to use my magic. But he could only grab Ela not Anastasia. I had no choice I had to get my sister out of the ice, before it was too late.

I closed my eyes and tried to locate her, as soon as I did I used my magic to float her body up. Mother wrapped her in a blanket and we— mother and I— walked towards the witch's garden.

"Please! Please!" "You have to save her!"

"On one condition, you leave one of them behind."

I sucked my breath in, "I'll go with you." I stated.

"No, you can't have any of my daughters…" mother then threw petals at the witch's feet and the witch disappeared into smoke. Mother reached out her arm, "Are you alright, my darling?"

As she wrapped her arm around my shoulder I smiled, "Yes, mother."

"Come on, let's go home."

"But what about Ana?"

"We'll find a way to bring her back… but not you as a price."

Not me as a price, Drizzela though…
