Unexpected Reunion

I was walking down to the lake to fetch water, when I heard a familiar voice, a voice that I never thought I'd hear again.

"Excuse me?!" I turn to find it was Regina. "Do you know where the Tremaine's mansion is located?"

I could hardly speak, instead I pointed towards the house. Inside the mansion I called out, "Mother, you have company!"

"Oh thank you, Sera." mother walks down the staircase, "You should get dress, dinner would be ready in a few."

I nodded and walked towards my room. Drizzela has been in my room again… but that didn't matter, it never bothered me.

I walked towards my closet and picked out my light purple one. Putting it on and fixing my hair in a nice updo, I gathered my soiled clothes and put them in the laundry room.

"Seraphina, my darling, would you come down here for a moment?" mother calls.

I breathed and walked towards mother then I saw Zelena and Regina standing side by side. Zelena gasped and held Regina's hand, I jumped back and stayed behind my mother. "Its alright, dear." mother smiled and streched her arm for me to take, "Nothing's going to happen to you, I promise."

I took the hand and walked closer to my sisters.

"Seraphina!" Zelena cried, "I thought you were gone!" she embraced me, I remained very still.

Regina began to stroke the back of my head.

I prayed that this nightmare would end, but it didn't. They released me and I went back to mother's side.

"What are you doing here?!"

"We came to rescue you." Zelena sighs.

"I don't need to be rescued." I state, "I like it here!"

"Sera…"

"Regina stop!" I frowned, "Please just go."

"Sera…"

"You heard her," mother scold, "go."

As they left, I fell to the floor crying. Mother picked me up, "Oh Sera…"

"I never want to see them again!"

"You don't have to." "They will never hurt you… I promise." she embraced me.
