I could hear running from the second floor. Ivy finally appeared from the top of the stairs, "Officer, what a pleasant surprise, what can we do you for at this fine morning?"

Weaver glared at Ivy, "Drizzela, I need your help!"

"No." Ivy shook her head, "I am not giving you my sister's hand in marriage."

I rolled my eyes. Weaver simply smirked, "I need your help looking for the guardian."

"Why do think that I'd help you?!" Ivy demands.

"Because, dearie, I can help you with your predicament," he states. "But only if you help me."

Ivy looked baffled, "And what do you know of my predicament, imp?!"

"I know everything!" he exclaims.

Ivy twisted her fingers, she looked uneasy, nervous. "Rose, go to your room, now."

"What?! Why?!" I know that I should have just followed her orders and not ask questions… Cora (my biological mother) taught me never to question authority but mother (Victoria Belfrey) taught me the difference between defying authority and questioning it; I chose to listen to mother.

"Just go to your room." I lowered my gaze and went back to my room.

What was my sister's predicament?! Why did she not want me to hear whatever she and Weaver were discussing? Was it about me? All those questions circled my thoughts as I waited for Weaver to leave. Was it about the business? Does Roni and Kelly have something to do with this? Is it because Robyn came back? Is the tower going bankrupt without mother?  Or is Ivy ill? God, I hope not I don't think I can handle anymore death.
