I am at my place cleaning myself up before I go back home to Jay. I looked in the mirror at my puffy lip and black eye. This time it wasn't him beating me. This time I fought back. Why I keep fucking with I don't know it started out as an innocent game then it moved into get the information, which I've still yet to get. Now it's way past any of that my life is in danger. I never thought when the brought this to me that I'd enduring the shit I've been through. Moving in with Jaya slow down the violence but it didn't stop it not in the least. And now every time I mention or even think about her when he's around he threatens to kill me. He said that they'd find my body on the side of the road or worse they wouldn't. It's to the point where I fear for more than just Jaya's safety, I fear for my families' safety too.

Funny thing is he knew about Jaya from the very beginning. He didn't have a problem with her till I started spending more time with her then him. Once he found that things between us were serious like more so than he thought he went ballistic threating to kill her and he did somethings to me that...yeah, if I am ever able to have kids it will be a miracle. My pager started buzzing. I looked at it half knowing it was Andre. It wasn't though! It was the person that got me into all this shit in the first place. Ughh I made the call. Yeah! You got my information! No and about that I won't out. You want out! Did I stutter this nigga is crazy he's beat me and nearly killed me on multiple occasions! I need the information! Look I can't help you no more, find some other girl to do it I am out. My money! I'll mail you check but I can't no more. Alright Lisa I'll let you off the hook this time he said hanging up the phone.

I let out a deep sigh putting the phone down. That's the last time I let my old ways creep into my new life. I looked at my face again, I gotta cover up this eye before she sees it, if she does then we are gonna fight and I don't wanna fight, I just want to chill with my ladies. I looked at the clock. 7:45 am I grabbed my pager and my bag and walked out of my room closing the door behind me.

I stopped by Rei's room and knocked lightly. Yeah come in! Hey sis! Hey so I am gonna go over Jaya's for the week if Andre calls just tell him I am out of town okay. For the week, you live with her. Oh yeah I forgot I said laughing a little. Don't worry I got you, so where am I telling him you are? Tell him I am in Philly. Alright, tell my sister in law I said Hi. You funny you know we ain't even married. Yall may as well be, yall living together, you gave her the ring and you trying to get her knocked up. She's getting closer to giving in too. A baby Li! Yes a baby I want one. But does she! You be safe, if you need anything call us. Cool bye girl, she said I closed her bedroom door.

I got in my car and drove the 20 minutes home. Jaya doesn't open her store till 12 today so I got time to get in here and make breakfast for her and Ti. I parked in my garage and looked around to see if Andre was lurking around anywhere. I went into the house and saw her plate from last night still on the table. They must have got it on last night. I went upstairs to our room and gently cracked the door to see the two of them all cuddled up sleeping peacefully. Ti's face in the crook of Jaya's neck and they were holding each other. I smiled, you made the right decision Li I thought to myself. I gently closed the door back and started going back down stairs till I saw the door at the end of the hall it was cracked. I looked back at the bedroom door, before I proceed down the hall towards the room.

I gently pushed the door open to see a baby room. On the wall was the name Skylar in big gold letters. Is she pregnant and didn't tell me? The whole room was bright pink with accents of gold and purple. As I looked around I spotted the book shelf and pulled out this photo album. I opened to see this gorgeous little chubby face baby with the most beautiful eyes I'd ever seen. Oh my god she was so beautiful. The album was of Jaya and this little girl I got to a page that showed Jaya with this little belly posing in her bathing suit. I smiled to see her like that, but then again I am little upset because she never told me she had a baby. I closed the book back and looked the room one last time before I left the room, closing the door back fully.
