This is still that story of uncle Sam and the two children - Mike and Rose.
When they entered the last door they were met by a world that changes people's reality - we then see Mike in a different world where he is back on earth working and having a really hard time with the boss - a dragon lady who really chews Mike's a*** and makes him work really hard with constant talk downs and noise.
Mike learns from his dreams - which seems like the normal story of his life - that he has to face the dragon lady to wake up from that reality.
He has real dread of doing that but finally does so.
He wakes up to a dark world where all are asleep and he has to face a real dragon - whose voice sounds like the old dragon lady/boss - and that is eating the sleeping people.
Mike, his uncle, the Watchers and Over-watch have to fight the green dragon for everyone to wake up.
