Chapter 12: Round Two

A few minutes later and we had gotten into the world of the second Rose.

When the second Rose (and the third Mike) saw us, they were so shocked - as had happened before - but unlike before they bolted. No matter what we said or how we called after them, they ran.

We therefore took a cab and went to wait for her at home.

My uncle sat in the kitchen talking to mum while the two of us sneaked into Roses' room and hid.

We waited for what seemed as an hour and then both of them walked in greeted uncle Sam and mum and had a few hour of fun with uncle Sam and then they had their supper.

After supper, and it must have been delicious, because the aroma wafting into Rose's room was just killing us - it made us really hungry.

A few minutes later, Rose walked into the room. After doing, whatever it is, she finally got into bed and a few minutes later was fast asleep.

We agreed with the first Rose, the Rose we came with, that I would pretend to be the other Mike and would ask the second Rose to go with me downstairs and the first Rose would remain in bed then follow us outside after a few minutes.

So I woke the second Rose and beckoned for her to be silent and follow me out.

As we were sneaking towards the stairs, we suddenly heard someone coming up, so we ran back into Rose's bedroom and waited until the person passed - I would not allow Rose to look towards her bed because she would have been really shocked.

We finally sneaked out of the room and went downstairs where uncle Sam was waiting in the sitting room.

We then snuck outside and started waiting for the first Rose to come out.

After waiting for like an hour or two we finally saw Rose coming out but before the second Rose could see her, uncle Sam spoke to her and asked her that no matter what happens she should be patient and uncle would explain everything.

Finally the first Rose came over and we walked to the back of the house and started explaining things to the two of them.

Just like for me, the two of them were really shocked but since they both trusted uncle Sam, they knew that it was true.

The second Rose informed uncle Sam that things had felt a bit off and that some things had made her realise that she must have been in some form of a dream world.

Uncle Sam then asked her to focus on the first Rose and wish her away - just as had happened in my case.

She did the same and the first Rose disappeared right in front of our eyes.

Uncle Sam then called the cab again and we got in. We were once again off to uncle Sam's house where we would have to figure out how to reach out to Over-watch and wake her up.
