The Tiny Lwanda 3

Chapter 20: The Second Last

End of the day and we were brought back to this huge and magnificent castle.

I thought to myself, "We have fought our way so far and we have never compromised and those who did, we saw what happened to them, this is not a difficult decision to me but are the others with me?"

I woke up Eon who had started dozing and asked, "Eon, I have decided to continue fighting, what is your decision?"

"Even if I decided otherwise, I am one with you and will always follow you my love but I decided the same a while back," she responded.

"There are only two more people I would like to know what they have decided and then we will proceed," I said and with that we moved to Uncle Sam's and Over-watch's room.

When we asked them they said they had come to the same conclusion and it seemed to me I was the last to decide amongst them all.

The next day we proceeded to the throne room and did not even touch our breakfast, uncle Sam stood before the king of the The and informed him, "King, we thank you for the way you welcomed us but we came to achieve something and that is to eradicate your wicked trade," he paused to let it sink in, "We will not compromise!"

When he finished, we all prepared for a battle but it never came, instead the king stood up and spoke calmly, "I understand your decision but I want you to eat your breakfast then you will be escorted back to your troops."

"You will have one day of peace and then we will battle!" He completed and its like dread fell on us because of how calm he was and his readiness to meet all of us rather than fight us now that he had the advantage.

We ate our breakfast and then were escorted to our coaches and back to our soldiers where we had left them.

After the one day of peace we had been given, we prepared ourselves for the mother and father of all wars but instead we only saw the king of the Te, dressed like his son with a crown on his head, coming towards us.

The king shouted, "We do not have to loose more people, choose a Champion to fight for you and if I win you will all surrender and serve me but if I loose I have ordered my commanders to all surrender and serve you."

We huddled together and spoke about the matter and finally Over-watch volunteered herself and we all agreed that she was the strongest of us all even though Uncle Sam was a bit fidgety about the whole issue.

Over-watch moved forward to face the king of the Te in combat and as she moved forward to face him, in the twinkle of an eye she changed and was now wearing a white resplendent armour with a golden shield and sword.

As the king of the Te advanced further to attack, we heard Over-watch tell us telepathically to close our eyes and as we did we still saw a bright light and when we opened our eyes, there was the king of the Te lying on the ground - dead!

We were overjoyed and spent another day celebrating and enjoying the fact that this great purveyor of evil was finally dead.

We then marched towards the city with the castle within carrying the body of the slain king and when those on the walls of the castle saw the dead king they ran back within and there was a commotion in the castle and finally the gates were opened.

The five commanders came marching  out fully armed and with them armies, creatures and vehicles we had not seen so far and we quickly prepared ourselves for an attack once more but once again, they surprised us - because their armies seemed able to take us on and defeat us but the commanders came and kneeled and the rest of their troops also came and kneeled before us. They then threw their weapons down to the side.

One of the five commanders who wore a golden badge spoke up, "As our king had commanded us, we hereby surrender, do with us as you will."

We entered the castle with great joy and celebrated once again with their food which this time was sweeter due to the great victory.
