For some days we celebrated at the dead king's castle then Over-watch one day informed us that it was time to move on.

We picked one representative of the Mach and one of the Kidi and left then to govern the Te people.

One of the conquered people decided to be honest with me, she came and reported that their king had entered into an agreement with a vile demon and it was because of that agreement that all these trouble had come upon the land.

She even informed us that she knew of the way to the land of the demon.

We thanked her and made her the third ruler of the city - they would have to sit in a Council of three and make decisions by a majority vote.

We then proceeded to the place she had informed us of and we found deep under the castle there was a portal!

The portal was totally dark and we could not even see anything on the other side. We therefore, called the lady and asked her to go in first - we did not yet completely trust any of the Te People. She walked right in and Over-watch followed, then uncle Sam and finally the rest of us followed in two by two.

We found ourselves in a dark tunnel, that without Over-watch,  would definitely have been much worse.

There was a bend and we thereby made a right turn, then another bend - right turn, then another bend - left turn and he we saw some faint light then another bend - left turn and we were greeted by dazzling light at the end of the tunnel.

We noticed a picturesque country with a beautiful atmosphere and a wonderful golden sunlight. No matter how much we looked into the sun; it did not hurt our eyes. The rays from it made every plant seem slightly golden.

We allowed the lady from the Te to go back. We would once again forge on on our own.

We walked for many days until one day we came to a forest with truly golden leaves!

I saw uncle Sam pick some and put them in his pocket and Rose did the same. We walked on for what seemed like two days and then we came to a very lovely little cottage made of golden bricks. After knocking, an old lovely Lady with a smile on her face - a very kind looking face - came and opened the door and ushered us in; only the leaders went in.

She cooked what smelled quite heavenly and when she served us it was just divine - we all ate heartily.

We slept in the cortege with our soldiers spread from near the cottage all the way back.

The next day we wanted to leave and so we asked for directions to the city of the king of this place, the lady informed us that the city was very far away and the road too complicated for her to even try so she said she would take us. We tried in vain to refuse her taking us, because of her age - she looked quite elderly, but she would  hear none of it. We finally agreed and after breakfast, which she insisted on, we were off.

The scenery continued to dazzle us and uncle Sam, Rose and a few others were soon carrying sacks of the golden leaves.

After many days of walking, on meandering roads, we finally came to the city. To our utter surprise we were welcomed into a city which was just heavenly - from what I read in the holy books, the streets are made of gold, just like this one.

The gates themselves seemed to be made partly of burnished bronze and partly of gold!

We had to finally, literally command all our troops not to collect parts of the walls or the streets.

Our march into the glorious city continued at a much slower pace because we were all awed by the walls - made of gold! The streets and the golden trees with the golden apple looking fruits - I personally collected some and tasted the richly delicious interiors.

Again and again the thing that kept popping in my mind is that we must have died and gone to HEAVEN!
