Memories, Pain, And A Monster

Smiling Zephron played with some object between his fingers. Admiring it's beauty as light shines off it, the golden frame sparkling, he thought to himself, I finally accomplished my main goal, I have finally gotten what I wanted. He gently puts on the crystal necklace, feeling its powers and strength he turns to the imprisoned bandits.

"You won't get away with this" Asher says glaring with fury.

"Oh, I think I already have." Zephron said as he placed his hand on the side of the cell.

Backing up against the wall Asher reaches out to Ezra's cold and limp body. "Come on, wake up"

"Oh your friend won't be up for another couple hours." Zephron said giving off an evil snare.

"What do you have against him?" Scoth asked cautiously.

"Because he is a traitor, he would betray his own pack, he doesn't care for anyone, he just wants power, revenge, and satisfaction." Zephron said his eyes glowing.

"No.. He wouldn't.." Asher froze.

"Oh but he would.. Look you don't understand his past, our past, so I suggest you shut your mouths and let me do as I please." Zephron said slamming his hand on the side of the brick prison wall.

Ezra groaned and turned around. Awakening slowly he turns and his hair, which is normally covering an eye, was pushed back and now both his eyes were visible. Gasping the others look into his right eye, which was blood red and where the eye should be white was black as night, he also had two scars over the eye.

Quickly he covers his eye, but Asher stops him from doing so.

"Ezra.. What the.." He says in disbelief.

"I.. Can explain.." Ezra said sitting up and glaring at Zephron.

"Oh, so your finally going to tell the truth? No more hiding?" Zephron said with a raised eyebrow.

Ignoring Zephron, Ezra starts, "Long ago, when I was about twelve I lost everything, my home, my family, everything.. After I had been wandering for a couple days, I met Zephron.. Who also had lost everything... Well left everything behind." He said looking straight into the eyes of Zephron between the bars." We wanted revenge, satisfaction. He had already gathered up a few young boys and we were taken to a powerful dark force, there the dark force gave us power and freedom to do as we wish. That's how the Dark Circle came to be. Now Zephron and I were very close, but something happened and we started falling apart slowly."

"And from then on you betrayed us, went to go for good, not evil, all because of that stupid girl." Zephron finished.

"She wasn't stupid! She.. Was the only thing left.. I had.." Ezra said with pain in his eyes.

"That's why you wear the gloves? Because the mark of the dark circle is forever engraved into the skin?" Scoth asked lightly.

"Yes, we all have it, those who joined the Dark Circle that is" Ezra said looking down. 

"So, your still part of the Circle?" Asher asked.

"No, I left, and for that I payed a price." Ezra said pushing back his hair that was covering his eye. "Not only this cursed eye, but I've lost the only thing that I ever loved and loved me back"

"Well, you killed her" Zephron said casually.

Hearing this Ezra gets up and punches the bars which Zephron was on the other side of.

"Temper, temper" Zephron smiled.

Ezra who was firing with rage his right eye was glowing red, his body glowing, suddenly a pair of ripped demon-like wings appeared from his back.

Stepping back Asher panics slowly. Scoth started was trying to process all the information that Ezra had just spilled and now what creature like thing he had turned into.

"The monster is back" Zephron said looking up at Ezra.

Hearing the word monster Ezra rushes forward towards the cells of the prison and as his body makes contact the prison falls apart. At this point both of Ezra's eyes were blood red, with a mixture of pain, revenge and fear.

Looking for his target he charges towards Zephron who dodges Ezra and pulls out the crystal necklace.

Seeing that, that is Crystal's necklace and that it carries powerful power, Ezra flies up and grabs Zephron and pins him up against a wall.

"Get out of here" Ezra says looking back at the others.

Not having to be asked twice they hurry out yet they run into other Dark Circle members. Occupied with fighting them off the others start to make a strategy which eventually throws the members off.

"My, my Ezra you sure know how to put up a fight" Zephron said struggling under Ezra's wrath. "But just remember, you are still a monster, and isn't this how you killed her? Violet, wasn't it?"

Hearing the name Ezra uses more strength against Zephron.
Looking into the eyes of Zephron, while keeping the gaze suddenly Ezra pulls off the necklace and let's Zephron down.

" I will let you go, this time" Ezra said taking Zephron's sword from his sheath. Cutting into Zephron's side, he walks away leaving Zephron in pain as blood oozes down his side.

"Don't think this is the end Ezra" Zephron said as his side goes numb. "I'll make sure that you pay, pay more than you ever had,more than you ever will"
