Tails and the smaller Sonic had arrived back at the base where everyone was waiting for them Sonic and Shadra were talking off to the side while everyone else was away from them, Shadra looked to see Tails and the Smaller Sonic. "Your back..." she said

Everyone looked to the Fox and little Hedgehog as Tails nodded then moved closer to Sonic.

"You find anything?" Sonic asked

"I got it, Sonic!" Tails nodded. "I figured out a way to stop Eggman's Phantom Ruby!"

Sonic smiled at his friend. "Great work Tails."

Shadra smiled as well.

"Based on these readings, the Phantom Ruby requires an incredible of energy, which only the Death Egg can provide." Tails explained

Everyone continued to look at him and Shadra moved closer to Sonic.

"We simply stop the energy transfer, and boom, the Phantom Ruby is practically useless." Tails said

The Red Echidna looked at the Fox. "Simply?" Knuckles asked. "Last I checked the Death Egg is a heavily Fortified... well... Death Egg."

Tails looked at him. "True, but I came up with a plan." he replied.

Everyone nodded for Tails to explain his plan.

"First we distract Eggman, while he's not paying attention, we will use the Chemical Plant computer to hack into the Death Egg's weapons systems and shut it down, with no weapons, Destroying the Death egg well be a peace of cake." Tails explained. "No Death Egg means the Phantom Ruby is nearly useless..."

"Well, you know, it's just crazy enough to work." Knuckles replied. "So first we need a distraction. I'm on it."

Sonic and Shadra looked at him the Blue Blur was about to say something but Amy beat him to it.

"No way, Knuckles, your to easily distracted." the Pink Hedgehog stated. "That's not a good trait for a distraction. Plus your our commander we kinda need you here."

Silver thought for a moment before saying. "How about the Rookie? Eggman would never expect it. It might throw him off a little."

Shadra's ears perked up to that before she smiled.

"Good idea!" Knuckles replied then looked at Shadra. "You've got your orders Shadra, we only have one more day before Eggman's plan is executed, so let's hussle."

Shadra nodded. "I won't let you down." she said

"I know you won't." Sonic Smiled

Shadra looked at him and blushed a little before she headed out as well as they others.

Sonic was about to leave before Tails grabbed his arm, the Blue Hedgehog looked at his friend. "What is it Tails?" he asked

"I wanted to tell you that the other Sonic and I saw Liarel at the Plant." Tails said

Sonic looked at him with interest. "What was she doing there?" he asked

"She was trying to find out of Eggman's plan... I don't know if she did find it but I leaned a little bit on Infinite... who he really is." Tails replied

"What?" Sonic asked

Tails then explained what he and Liarel found on the Masked Jackal and the Blue Hedgehog was stunned to hear all this.

"Infinite really is not doing it willingly... I believed her but now hearing that...." Sonic said

"We better be careful if the Phantom Ruby is going to force him into this plan... it will be really dangerous for us..." Tails said
